Purchased a pair of pants. The store has limited selection as it’s last seasons or left over stock IMO, “second”sticker tagged that may have a stain or flaw of some sort. It’s final sales for your purchases. Two change rooms. Savings of 40%+ and upwards for most items. Small selections of backpacks, couple of hats and shoes. The clothes which I saw were made of polyester, I prefer wool.
This factory store usually has good deals for outdoor clothing of various purposes, such as skiing, hiking or fishing etc. I am a fan of this brand because its high quality and professional design. The store is busy at any time.
Staff was great. The outlet feels a bit small. Unlike the sizes of their clothing that are mostly XL XXL. If you wear those sizes you should definitely check this outlet out. Some pieces were 150/200$ off the original price. I haven't checked the woman section, so I'm not sure if the lack of Small and Medium sizes is the same there too.
All items are final sales. Do not go on weekends. Because, store is really busy and there is no one around to help. It's my favorite brand but last time I was there I waited for someone to help me with shoes and after 44min waiting I gave up and left.
It’s really unfortunate that I have to give one star to this company as I have really enjoyed their products and in the pass I have receive really great customer service I purchased a jacket at the outlet store. I was trying on multiple sizes I was given the wrong size I went home noticed that it was the wrong size after the tags were off. I still have the tags and it was just put on in my house, so I called to see if I can do an exchange or what can be done and was told that that’s my problem no accountability was taken on a potential mistake from a team member mistakes happen and I was told it was my problem. I should’ve double check the size. I understand the human errors can happen on an employee or customers term but to give no resolution is unacceptable customer service these products don’t come cheap and now I’m out multiple hundreds of dollars, it’s really unfortunate and I feel this situation has been handled poorly, Hopefully someone reads this and can train and develop your staff on how to handle situations on a better level but to flat out put all the blame on a customer and tell them that it’s there problem is really not the right way to approach this type of situation.
Good store but staff is not very friendly. You talk to them and as you speak to them they are on their phone, and they seem bother when you ask them a question. They have a decent selection though they are short on shoes.
I went to Arcteryx outlet in North Vancouver with my wife today for returning 2 jackets I bought last week, but was informed all the purchases are final sale, I didn’t say anything and just walked away from the counter. After that, I picked some new items and tried to pay for them before an employee named Jenn Mar approached to me and repeated the no return policy again with a dramatic tone and body language which made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable, also my wife who is pregnant for 8 months felt we were being discriminated. In addition, when I tried to explain the reason I bring those 2 jacket to return is I purchased another jacket few months ago and I remember it was 14 days return policy, but Jenn emphasized there is never a 14 days return policy and made me feel I was lying. fortunately, I found the receipt that says 14 days return is available for outlet store back in February this yearTherefore, I rise my voice a very little. Suddenly, Jenn said she is going to call a manager because I yelled. Few minutes later, the manager Brandon Hilton came out from the back and asked me what happened before I explained to him the entire incident. However, after I finished my explanation, Brandon informed me and my wife that I can’t make any purchases as I am being disrespectful to his employee. At that moment, my wife felt even more frustrated since both of us felt we are the one being treated disrespectful and being discriminated at the first place, plus the manager handled the issue rudely without saying anything just asked me and my wife to leave the store or either investigated through camera or asked Jenn again for a better understanding of the whole incident. Therefore, firstly me and my wife felt we are being discriminated and the manager handled the issue so rude and unskillful by just asked us to leave the store. After we left the store, I tried to bring my wife to another shopping mall, however she told me she is scared to go any else stores because she is afraid of being discriminated again. This is the first time we are being discriminated after we came to Canada since 2019 and can’t believe this happened on us in a Arcteryx store.
I think the cashier is being racist. I have my clothes left on the counter and no one was there, so I stepped in to the counter for one small step. I admitted that it was my fault so when she told me that she was not happy I did apologized for several times. For people who are absent from their duty, I personally believe apologies are granted from their side first. The worst part is that her attitude was extremely weird since then -- being enthusiast while rolling her eyes at the same time. I came with my aunt who don't know English and didn't know what happened, so she thought she was just being nice. She is a small girl with curly hair.
Horrible service, staff would just stand there and stare at you. Cashier seemed completely miserable and wouldn’t say one extra word or even greet you. We purchased thousand dollars worth of clothing and they just slides the clothes on the table towards us without even asking if we want a bag.
I bought a shakedry product. I was told it was durable, waterproof, and could be repaired. it has ripped 2 times in the first 6 uses. As well is flaking off. it is a $550 jacket. I sent in for warranty and was told it can only be taped and not repaired. I offered a solution of buying a higher end jacket of $900 and paying the difference as I was miss-informed of the product. I offered this to make the company not loose money and to retain a loyal customer. Unfortunately I was offered an insulting offer of $165 credit. I will no longer recommend this brand as they give bad advice and do not stand behind their products at all. The manager of the store even used the words "shakedry rips if you look at it wrong" when bring in for warranty. They are aware of the problem and will not deal with it.
