Aradia Fitness

I admittedly am a creature of habit, especially once I have discovered something that I love to do. For years I enjoyed Bikram Hot Yoga! Then the studio I practiced at closed. This left a great big hole in my yoga practice that I thought could only be filled by finding another studio that practices Bikram. After meeting Chantelle Beasley at a local networking event I found out that Aradia Pole fitness offers more than just Pole fitness! I couldn’t help but be curious about the slings of colourful silk that hang from the studio ceiling. That’s when I discovered aerial yoga. My curiously had me signed up and ready to find out. First impression couldn’t have been better! Yoga practices can be very intimidating to newbies. Just because I’d practice Bikram didn’t mean I would automatically fall into a sling if silk gracefully stretching out my body. The instructor was so warm and friendly and super helpful in guiding us into the different poses during aerial yoga. I was in heaven using my body weight and gravity to stretch out my entire body. The class flowed nicely hitting all the major muscle groups and ended with a peaceful mini meditation cocooned in swaying slings of colourful silk. It was bliss!!!! I am now a huge lover of aerial yoga and the talents of the Aradia Team. I highly recommend Aradia for anyone that enjoys alternative fitness and experiencing new ways of helping their body feel amazing. The atmosphere is super friendly and supportive which makes it easy to put yourself out there and try something new that could end up being a new love for you as Aerial Yoga now is for me. I went to my first ever "Pound" class yesterday (drumsticks and all) and it was fabulous! Betty was full of great energy and welcomed me so nicely that I immediately felt comfortable. It was a great workout and I highly recommend it as a good way to switch up your routine. I will be back :) Thanks Aradia Fitness for putting on something a little different and FUN!!

I cannot say enough good things about Aradia. The staff are knowledgeable and safety is their upmost concern. The environment is welcoming and private, you feel welcomed and un-judged and they are super patient if you don't catch on the first time. I highly recommend Aradia to anyone that wants to try alternative strength and agility-type of training and the Aerial Yoga looks amazing!!! Definitely would recommend getting a membership because this is one fitness class you can't get enough of!

I recently tried aerial yoga at Aradia Fitness at the Sherwood Park location. In addition to it being just plain fun, it was challenging and a great workout, but also geared towards all levels of fitness. You don’t need to be fit or experienced with yoga but if you are, it would still provide a challenging and fun experience. I love that I am having fun while I get a great work out. Best savasana ever!

Went with a group for an aerial yoga class on a Friday night. Everyone had a really great experience and the studio was so accommodating! The instructor Josh was fantastic, and helped us with the more difficult poses. You don't have to be in good shape to do this class! It was fun, but challenging, and the staff made it a very memorable experience! I'll definitely be back.
