Ordered the loaded waffle fries and they were legitimately cold the sauce had hardened and it was just not good. My husband got a burger that didnt come with jalapeños but had the top of a pepper under his cheese, no other peppers just that. The staff was pretty hostile with each other also, just made the experience a little weird on top of the bad food. My mothers fish fry was okay but she ended up using a lemon from her drink because the waiter took so long to bring some.
I had a birthday offer of a free dessert to use when spending at least $15. I had the steak dinner. For a dollar more, a dozen shrimp was added.Food: 4/5
I placed an order for several items to pickup curbside. I was told to arrive to pickup the order in 18 min. I arrived 20 min after placing the order and sat and waited for another 20 min. The boneless buffalo wings were cold the moment they handed us the bag. So basically 18 min turned in to 40. We requested a new order of boneless wings and we were told it would take 8 min. We waited 20 min and no boneless wings were brought out to us. I went inside to request a refund and the manager told the employee that I requested the refund from to just passive aggressively hand me the wings that were cold. I insisted that we get a refund and the manager refused to even start the process of my refund because they were busy because it was a holiday. The manager refused to process my refund and wanted to write down my info so he could do it later in the night. He would not provide me anything in writing that I would get a refund so I decided to cut bait and eat the cost of the buffalo wings. This place doesn't care about your time. Your time has no value to them. They told us to arrive in 18 min, if you are busy, provide a more realistic time frame. It isn't the customer's job to recognize they are providing an unrealistic time frame based on the time of the year. It is the employees job to provide the correct time frame and if they don't it is your job as a manager to appease the customer and not apathetically try to blame it on the customer.
I came here on NYE, was seated be Shane, greeted at the bar by David and Alexa, and Catherine was my server. It was relatively slow and they seemed to be letting most of the staff go to enjoy their night. That's when I noticed everything pick up and it was down to no hosts, one bar tender to seat everyone and serve drinks, one cook, 3 servers and a manager. No one lost their cool and together they all worked like a very well oiled machine. The food was coming out without a glitch and the 3 servers maintained the entire dining room. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and look forward to returning.
This is how I remembered Applebee's before Covid-19. Busy and lots of customers having a good time. We ordered the specials: " all you can eat, for $14.99." And, until end of January, you can even mix and select all 3: shrimp, chicken nuggets, and baby back ribs. Many choices in all three for seasoning. Service was exceptional, and our server, Alex was "tops." Great smile, personality and super service. Parking: A great location to get to, and a large parking lot. Special designated handicap parking right near entrance, and parking for customers with on line, or call in orders.
Went to Applebee's Penfield / Webster on a gift card on 6/29. Great service from our waiter Kris and the other cheerful staff. First time I've been there in about 10 years. But egads - yuck - interior sad and old, and the flooring hasn't changed in perhaps 20 years. Can't the Applebee's chain afford new flooring and carpeting? It's disgusting. And, my son's Bourbon Street steak was missing its potatoes. And my drink was missing its second blue shark gummy at least as advertised in the drink photo. And no silverware brought. Food and service great. But the interior is sad and faded and old and the flooring and carpeting on the ramp is appalling.
Had really no major issues with our visit. The food was just about what you expect, so not bad. Obviously the prices have gone up within the past couple of years but not much you can do about that. The wait when we arrived was actually shorter than we expected. Only issue we had was the wait staff not bringing a single refill till we were done with the food. She was just mia until then.
Had a beautiful experience date time with my husband. Jay, our waiter had great people skills and our food came quickly and was very enjoyable. Jay took his time in helping me pick out a meal to my diet needs. One of my favorite time to this place. Will be back . Best Applebees experience ever.
Our waiter his name was Jay he was very pleasant, friendly, and our service was right on point. We conversated and had a few laughs. He made our visit very enjoyable, next time we come back we will ask for him. Thank you Jay for making our granddaughters birthday dinner awesome.
Wait time wasn't terrible. My daughter and my wife ordered the chicken penne. Both their plates were way overcooked. Chicken was blacked so hard we made a joke of how bad it was and bounced it around the table. Yes at 41 years of age I'll still play with food I'd like to say my dish was decent unlike my families. Service was slacking and a little slow. I enjoyed their tvs and beverages.
