Average food and an average menu. The portions are a little bit smaller than expected, but at least the prices are reasonable. They brought me the wrong side order which was a bit annoying.

The best part of this place is the people! Wonderful servers and lots of regulars. It's great to walk into a place and hear people going about their morning and getting along. It's fairly small, but it didn't feel overcrowded. Great place to go if you're looking for a classic diner.

Father and daughter make a great team. Very friendly. Makes you feel like family. Food is excellent and quite a variety. Working my way thru the menu. Glad to see they are doing so well there. Parking: Parking is great.

The food here is great and the waitresses are generally on point. Myself and my girlfriend visited this place once when they only had one waitress. There was around 3 tables that were occupied when we came in and including us it was 4. We waited there for almost 10 min before the waitress asked us our order. I indicated i wanted a specific type of coffee and the waitress indicated she didn't have it and then briskly walked away, I then looked at her, got eye contact and said ok coffee then. She said ok and walked away. About 10 min pass and a guy walks in that she quickly seats and immediately brings a coffee... About 5 min later she brings us our food and complains about some other customer that complained about her service and how he was being unreasonable. unprofessional. Then we ask her about the coffee and she was like oh my bad, I got confused and so I had to wait till she brewed another pot to get my coffee. Now during all of this she provided this guy that just walked in with his coffee and his food. The guy was able to checkout immediately as well. He was able to get his full order and checkout before we even got our food and that was because he was her Uber driver. I don't blame a person for favoring their regular customers but when the waitress complains about people not understanding they are short staffed whilst simultaneously being able to provide prompt service ahead of customers that had been waiting for 10 min to her Uber driver that just walked in... You really have to stop and wonder what level of self awareness this person has or if she really thinks the average customer is so daft that they can't see what is going on around them. The younger staff is great, this older lady is a piece of work.

Always the best tasting food the best price and the largest quantity. Everything seems to be homemade. Can't say enough good things about this place. Family-owned family-run. UPDATE: after eating here at least 30 + times I can safely say this is the best Hidden Gem in all of Monroe County. Since they've opened is my number one place to go for breakfast or on Fridays for the unbeatable fish fry not only is it massive but it is the flakiest and best-tasting haddock I have ever had I prefer the breading because it is a very very tasteful.

Love the look of the place. The owner and his daughter are a fantastic duo. He cooks and she serves. Both are incredibly pleasant and the food is great. Classic diner food done to perfection. Parking: Has its own lot.

I wanted to try Maa's out, so went to breakfast with a friend. She commented that her Belgian waffle was flavorful. I had a philly steak plate special. The portion was ample, but the dish wasn't seasoned, so was mediocre. Great coffee! The service - the younger staff was not as attentive. My experience won't deter me from stopping in again to try something else.

This probably the best breakfast diner in the state = and I've eaten most everywhere. The last two times I was there I had Polish sausage and eggs .. And this morning the farmer's omelette with marble rye toast without hash browns or home fries, which are incredible. Whiten the waitress was delayed in picking up my breakfast by 30 seconds, one of the cooks came out of the kitchen to serve me and refill my coffee!!!

I've been going here since they first opened. I've never been disappointed. The servers are always friendly, the owners are great and again, the food is great with big portions. Best place on the east side for sure.
