I grew up in Webster but moved away about 20 years ago. Whenever I'm in the Rochester area I try to stop back in for a plate at this favorite old haunt of mine. Many folks will say there are better plates out there and I'm sure that's true, but this place is a properly preserved piece of adolescent nostalgia and is still proper comfort food and I imagine still proper drunk food, though I'm a bit old for that routine now. I've been a long-term Grubhub driver on the side, and have probably delivered plates from every restaurant in Rochester over the last five years. Let me just say that this is the only place I will order plates from--even if I have to go out of my way. Great value for the money and the people are very friendly. PS: They get their delivery orders out fast and accurately, so not a bad place to order from on one of the apps, especially on busy nights, as the drivers tend to go where we know the orders will be done on time. But if possible, go directly through them and support a local business. They have an app available!
Love their plate! It's too much for me to eat so I was glad I discovered the 1/2 plate. Probably should be half the proce, but it is still a lot of food. Great for one sober person.
First time visiting here. The service was great and very friendly as they walked me through their options. The seating was very clean, well lit, and even has something playing on the screen. The kitchen looked very busy you can see directly in it while we were visiting. It appears this place is busy and that was a sign of their quality dishes. The menu had lots of great options and I settled on a trash plate with chicken, cheeseburger, over a double order of fries. I'm not a Mac salad fan and was bummed they didn't have Mac and cheese as an option. Overall, it was a great visit and I recommend you give it a try. The clean facilities and clean kitchen assured me this is a "safe" place to eat. My only gripe was the seating area, it made it difficult to converse without being inches away from another table. I give it 4+ stars, especially if your ordering for takeout.

Ordered wings with blue cheese. Didn't receive the cheese and more than half of the wings were burnt and tiny compared to the others. Couldn't even eat them. Wings are getting way too expensive to receive this..
Love the food. But the last 3 times I've ordered they very made it wrong. Very annoying and frustrating
Not happy, the Beans were ice cold which in turn turned the whole plate cold and no hot sauce worst plate I’ve ever had. Will not return. And the burgers were horrible

was having a terrible day and stopped for a plate but my apple pay wouldn’t register on their device not their fault. i decided to void the order and went to leave but they ensured i still left with a plate and a smile. it’s clear customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance. my favorite plate place in webster, and i feel even better about going there knowing the employees are genuinely nice people too
