Anytime Fitness

This is a reasonably convenient location. The space is too small, so I appreciate why they have a hard time getting equipment in ideal places. The staff is friendly and helpful. The thing that matters most for me is the equipment. There is only 1 stationary bike, and no stair climber. I went to a location in Saskatoon a couple months ago and felt very cheated. The location in Saskatoon was WAY better than this one. If you've got an option for which gym to go to, this location is the worst I've been to so far. And it's too hot! Not enough mirrors! Overall: 5/10

Great location with easy access from the University. Parking is tight just outside the gym but the Brentwood mall has plenty of open space. I'd love to swap out a few pieces of the equipment which are not my fav. but everything is pretty new and in great shape. The staff keep the place very tidy and the existing members are dedicated and respectful.

It's so small, and that means not enough equipment. There are barely any mirrors and instead there are windows so everybody can see you from outside, which doesn't feel safe or comfortable. But they have really nice staff and that's only why they get 1 star.

I signed up almost 3 months ago, I was told the gym would open 2 months ago. It's still not open and nobody listed for the contact information is picking up their phone or returning my emails. I'm about to cancel my membership. . . Update: I had to move to the other side of the city and was told all I needed for an early cancellation was emailed proof such as piece of mail with my new address. I signed the papers, returned my key fob and went about my week. I was then contacted about the letter I emailed, apparently the only valid proof of address is a utility bill or a driver's license. Well I don't have a license and the utilities are paid under my roommates name. They refused to finalize my cancellation and stopped responding to my emails about the matter and when I went to the bank and blocked their payments, they sent a collection agency after me. I recieved daily voicemails and as I am a student working 2 part time jobs, I had one hell of a task trying to spare time to deal with this. The company headquarters wouldn't deal with the issue, telling me that the gym locations are individually operated and when I contacted the better business bureau the gym manager wouldn't even respond to the formally filed complaints. I don't understand how the manager justifies refunding me for my access device and then continuing to try to charge me. I continuously emailed asking for the documentation that outlined the exact paperwork I needed for my cancellation and recieved no reply. It took over 8 months to finally get the gym to give up and stop the collection agency from harassing me every second weekday. If you google reviews for this franchise you will find nothing but reviews consistent with my experience. I should have checked before I signed up; do yourself a favor and stay away.

The parking really turns me off. It is very inconvenient only 3 parking spots!! I won't be going to this location again.
