Same great taste and service as the original location, but with one really good addition to the menu. The doubles were served a bit differently, but in a manageable fashion that allowed more fillings to be added on, and kept on the bara, instead of on the plate. With the nearby bus stop, this is sure to have a lot of drop in customers, that can get the roti to go. The dine in area is neat and clean and could be a good after work spot. Vegetarian options: I had the potato roti and the doubles, they also have Channa and bhaji. A dhal rice and bhaji dish would be great when fasting.
We went to the Steeles location and had a fantastic experience. The food had so much flavor and gave a homemade feel. The doubles were the best we have ever had. There is so much care in the service and quality of the food. Portion sizes were a bargain. The hot sauce was phenomenal, with spice and with flavor. We will stop here whenever we are in the area without hesitation—some of the best Caribbean food we have had, hands down.
Got Jerk chicken with rice and peas 10/10. Doubles were amazing too. The owner Nisha was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. Hidden gemFood: 5/5
Got the goat curry for myself and jerk chicken and rice an peas for my co worker and all I can say it was so good that we both forgot to take pics and scarfed the meals down. I’m pretty particular about my goat curry and you can tell that this place takes the time to clean and prepare there meat. My co worker say the jerk chicken was really good and full of flavor and the small size is perfect for lunch. Can’t wait to try something else. Vegetarian options: The Veggie soup is amazing
Aneal's Is the best restaurant in Toronto! If you're looking for good homemade quality Caribbean food freshly made, this is the place. Their soup is absolutely amazing!! Everything on their menu is awesome! The owners are exceptional! If you haven't stopped in, I encourage you to do so. They will make you feel at home and they will take good care of you regarding food choices on their menu. Thank you so much Aneal's!! Vegetarian options: Their doubles are amazing! The best island tasting food that I had in a very long time . The roti is flawless , the curry is immaculate Vegetarian options: Their is vegetarian menu available as well
So having visitors from Trinidad, we called ahead to ensure they can accommodate our large party...easier said than done.The restaurant was clean and airy with no smell of food from the kitchen. Placed our orders with each person wanting to try a different dish. Ordered the doubles as an appetizer...and as one member said " tasted way better than having doubles in Trinidad"...compliments to the chef. Food was served in a timely manner and arrived freshly prepared...portions were huge so much so that no one could finish their meal, and had to have it as take out. One member due to a dietary restriction, had their curried fillet of fish...specially prepared for him. The food was not bland as everyone pointed out with just the right amount of flavour and spices...Thank you Aneal for accommodating us and making our Friday dinner an experience we shall never forget...you deserve a 15 out of 10...we shall be back.
Best doubles I have ever tasted in canada, comming from someone who grew up eating the orginal sauce doubles in curepe. The stew chicken dinner and coleslaw tasted bestest and the proportion was perfect.Food: 5/5
Best Caribbean Restaurant in GTA! Have tried pretty much every Chicken dish on the menu, the Curry Chicken Roti and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas are my favourite. Got to try their Mac and Cheese yesterday with my absolute favourite Jerk Chicken and trust me when I say the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. It was so flavourful and melted in mouth. The new location is just amazing, very clean and pretty to hang out with friends or to have memorable times with loved ones. The owners are very friendly and welcoming rare to find that in other restaurants in GTA. January 20th 2023 Omg!! Tried their doubles today and these are the best doubles I have ever had. The green cucumber chutney is amazing. The puri they call bara is fluffy and soft. Never had doubles like these. Their hot sauce is to die for. Well, if you want authentic and amazing Caribbean food Aneal’s taste of the islands is the place.
Great food, friendly lady and you get roti made fresh with curry made that day. Great price. I got goat with dhal puri and a double for $16. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Yes
