Americas Best Value Inn - Albany / East Greenbush

This was the second time we've stayed here. Staff is nice, got extra towels. It's good for the price. The wash cloths were a bit harsh, like sand paper. A little softener in the laundry would help. Just a tip: take a hanging "shower caddy" . We remembered from previous year and it made showers much easier.

Horrible staff. Upon arriving I noticed my bathroom needs to be cleaned. I politely asked for housekeeping but I was told they were gone for the day. When I asked to be switched to another room or be compensated for my unclean room I was told I need to stop complaining and if I wanted better service I should go to a better hotel.and this was after they offered to give me cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom myself. Very unprofessional staff. Do not reccomend

Spent 3 months here for lack of other options, husband working close by and this was reasonable. You can't get clean sheets more than once a week so I bought my own. You absolutely cannot get a clean bedspread for your entire stay, owner refused after we got one changed one time, said it wasn't necessary if it's the same people, that's just gross and I'm sorry but I wash my comforter every time I change my sheets and I'm the only person using it so I took their dirty crap off my clean bed. Housekeeping doesn't speak English so hard to communicate, don't clean well at all so I did that myself as well. Should have gotten a damn discount based on how little they had to do. Had to spray for bugs regularly, also paid for that. Only good thing I can say, one of the desk clerks was super nice and as helpful as possible, very personable.

Have stayed st this hotel twice already returning tomorrow for another stay. The customer service is excellent, very accommodating! The rooms have always been clean, especially happy with the recent renovations. Room is completely updated with modern flooring, faucets and wonderful wood and tile bathroom. Nicely done!!

The place was acceptable. Seemed pretty clean and professional. Heat was a bit tricky and uncomfortable. I slept in the bed by the window and their was a child breeze all night so i adjusted the heat and my coworker in the other bed got heated out while i was freezing.
