The Desmond Hotel Albany

Gorgeous hotel. Everything is so clean and everyone is amazingly nice. I fell in love with the hotel. They usually have several events going on at any one time but there are display boards around that clearly states which rooms and timings so you are never lost. The interior of the hotel takes you back and everything is just so adorable. The only thing is that water from the coolers tasted a little metallic but you can easily buy your own water from the gift shop or vending machines. It is also close to wolf road where the restaurants and malls are. Cant wait to go back again!

The room was very nice, and comfortable. We stayed overnight because we attended a wedding. Our meals were delicious, and the hotel was the perfect venue for a wedding- the event took place in an enclosed courtyard. Very lovely. Staff is friendly. Negative- some of the hallways smelled like smoke.

Clean, comfortable beds, pleasant staff. Able to check in early. Food for several day conference was varied and flavorful. Desserts are divine! Large conference center with multitude of room sizes. Indoor courtyards gave a European feel to my stay. The koi pond was my favorite!

This is a really nice hotel . The architecture is really vintage style. The food is edible but it could be better. I will definitely come back.

Had a great lunch today. I was dropping my friend off at the airport and suggested we stop at The Desmond. It was wonderful. The waiter was adorable, attentive & and professional. I have been at the Desmond numerous times for different reasons and they never disappoint!
