American Country Bed and Breakfast

We had a lovely stay in beautiful Coeur d'Alene. Our hosts were wonderful....answered all our questions, made us feel so welcome and made us a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely recommend them!

The owners are exceptional and amazing people. They are so friendly and such sweet hosts. I cannot say enough good things about them. The house is a must see- they are antique collectors and we enjoyed seeing all the neat things they have. We stayed in the treehouse, which was a cool experience! It was very quiet, peaceful, and unforgettable. If we are ever near Idaho again, that would be our first choice to stay. It is SO beautiful there. Not far is a section of the Coeur d' Alene lake where several geese gather on the beach, it was an excellent photo opportunity!

When we arrived at American Country Bed and Breakfast, it was even more charming and quaint than the online pictures showed. Located in a spacious open valley nestled within a large border of evergreens, we were amazed at every little detail that was taken into consideration on the property, with small vignettes everywhere. In celebration of our anniversary, they provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider on a beautiful tray with glasses and ice. The next morning they provided a pre-breakfast tray that was so beautiful I had to take a picture. (The hot chocolate was incredibly delicious.) We also enjoyed a wonderful home-cooked breakfast. After our day in town, we returned to the home and sat outside on the porch in the rocking chairs and took in the beautiful scenery. The owners treated us like we were family. It was a wonderful getaway and a perfect way to spend a weekend celebrating our special event.

We just spent a week here in the big sweet, it was a big, beautiful room and perfect for us. We had a wonderful time, and our hosts were so nice. The food was delicious, and the coffee trays that come to your room were such a nice treat! I would highly recommend this B &B and hope to come back again soon.
