Nice digs - they are definitely putting work into the place. (Needs the help.) Nifty tiered system up the hill with cozy parking. Picturesque & way cool tent camping area right by water. Pool not in operation, but they are working on it - I wouldn't say the lake swimming option is my style with all the growth... Have water issue but mngt bought hoses and came up with a fix.
Pretty happy with the place and everyone seems super nice. The beauty of the location is impressive.

Very nice campground with enough space between sites. Far enough from the highway noise. Free hot showers and firewood. Under new owners so being remodeled. The bathrooms were clean and grounds well maintained. We stayed one night on our way East and would come back.

No picnic table when I arrived. Quiet and privacy minimal. Noisy. Guests stayed up well past quiet hours. Some used firewood during burn ban. Hot showers. Paddle boats and canoes to take out onto lake. Interesting marshland.

The location was lovely and the campsites were decently sized (we were in a tent). The shower facilities were warm and quite clean, and the campground provides paddle boats, a canoe, and firewood, all for free. It was close enough to the town to not be an unreasonable drive, but there was a lot of wildlife. We even saw a moose! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that the campsites are very close together. If you are in a tent you will have zero privacy if the camp is even half full because your tent will likely be within feet of another's. The RV sites were also pretty tight. But overall it was a good experience and I would try to visit again when there weren't as many people.

This place is very run down though I have read it's being renovated. Not as what the website made it appear. Playground is run down, bathrooms with out of order toilets and no towels, pool green and closed off, trash overflowing the dumpster, portable toilets in tent camping area up to the seats in waste. The tent spots offer you no privacy. You are smashed 20 feet from the next guy with a board separating you. Good shade until about 5pm and then you roast in the sun. We planned on staying 4 nights, but only stayed a few hours. I was sick with a stomach bug and was not about to suffer any more there. Management was nice to refund us for 3 of the 4 days. Found a hotel instead and never looked back!
