ALT HOTEL

This was my third time staying at the ALT Hotel in Brossard for business, and it’s easily my favorite hotel in the Montreal area. The location is incredibly convenient, right in a shopping center with plenty of great food options nearby. La Belle & La Boeuf Burger Bar is a must. The hotel is also just a short walk from the REM, making it easy to get into downtown Montreal without dealing with the insane traffic.nnThe rooms are excellent, well-sized, and very comfortable. The staff is always attentive and accommodating, and the free underground parking is a huge bonus. If you’re visiting the Montreal area and need a place to stay, this is absolutely the hotel to choose.*nn*We just need Germain Hotels to fix their guest rewards program on their website. Its been under construction for over 2 years!

Great location—right across the border from the U.S., which made it really convenient. The place was clean and generally well-maintained. I also really liked the interior design throughout the hotel; it had a stylish and thoughtful feel in every corner. One unique thing was that our room was on the corner, so there was a large empty space as soon as we walked in. It felt a bit unusual, but not necessarily a bad thing. However, I was surprised to find a tear in the bed sheet, which took away from the overall impression. Also, the water pressure in the shower was very weak, making it a bit uncomfortable to use. Not sure if it was the showerhead or a plumbing issue. Other than that, it was a decent experience. Also, it was a little disappointing that there was no bottled water provided in the room—something you’d typically expect at this level.

Wonderful hotel, extremely friendly staff, great location, free and easy parking. The hotel is beautiful, as are the rooms. Very clean, tastefully decorated and soundproof. I had an early morning appointment for my dog at a clinic nearby and the Alt is pet-friendly, which really saved my day. They also have a cute pet package including a dog bed, bowls and treats. I had a beautiful corner room with a small refrigerator, which was very practical. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will return for sure if I need to return to that area.

Very nice hotel, high ceilings in rooms, nice smelling toiletries, nice location next to an “outdoornmall” which was pretty peaceful to walk around. Good pastries offered in the am for a fee.nnMy only criticism is that we found Julie, the woman at the front desk terminal all the way to the left near front doors to be unfriendly and condescending. Not sure how she got a front desk job interacting with guests … she’s largely the reason for 4 stars vs 5.

Great place. Would stay again. Not sure of the size of the single room but the doubles are great, They should loose the dumb chair and just put a normal one. We were they for event. Booze bit $$
