Motel La Siesta

Terrible. I was first given a "non-smoking" room but it reeked of stale cigarette smoke. And it was tiny, dimly lit and threadbare. The staff graciously moved me to another room, which didn't smell as bad as the first, but it was still depressing. I couldn't take it so I fled to the Best Western down the road.Rooms: 1/5

Very 70's feel to the place. The staff were friendly and the location is pretty good. The biggest issue was the real strong odor in the room that motels sometimes getRooms: 3/5

The room was clean and comfortable. Outside was under some repairs, so a little messy but doesn't interfere with your stay.Rooms: 5/5

Good location. Room was clean but extremely dated. No deadbolt on the door. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work. No “do not disturb” sign for the door. Asked if i could have one because i spent the night with family at the hospital and I needed to sleep. Said they didn’t have any, and my only option was to opt out of cleaning. Very limited channels on the tv. I will say the staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable.

Clean room, a little dated but for the price we paid and the service we received. 5 stars. Made us feel welcome and got into our room early after driving all night. Above and beyond!!Rooms: 4/5

It is a very cute motel and you can walk to different restaurants/amenities easily, The room was clean and they have a cute deck that is very cozy. I would stay here again if I had to go through that part of town in the future.Rooms: 4/5

Great friendly staff, especially Gloria. So nice. Yes it is an older building but it's cleen friendly and very well priced.Rooms: 5/5

Absolutely disgusting. Smells, bugs dying in the room, bath tub was full of dirt. The toilet had been used and not cleaned. Beds are super old. Furniture smells and gross. Worst part, smoke alarm was off the ceiling hidden in a drawer. When I asked about having it up and working she asked me if I smoked. I said no and she said you won’t have to worry about the alarm then. Carpet on the floor was sticky. No locks on the door that goes right to the outside. Windows do not close or have locks. One light in the whole room which made it very dark. Lady at the counter was very friendly and kind. This place is dangerous and disgusting.

Our room 134 was very clean, renovated and nicely decorated. Everything worked but the only thing was the mattress were very hard and old. We enjoyed everything else and had a good stay.Rooms: 4/5

So much for “remaining open to a resolution” - they called me back after increasing the price out of the blue on a rate we had already agreed on prior, and they are still charging me $40/night EXTRA above the rate we had agreed on prior. That is not a resolution. If you were really open to a resolution you’d honour the rate we initially agreed on.
