Take out review May2022 They only accept take out order at this time. They have no dine in for a while now. Most of the people order sushi party trays here and they only accept cash on party tray order. Quality of fish and rice is above average in compare to all the "Japanese sushi party trays restaurants" in the area. I can easily name 10 more Japanese restaurants you can order sushi party trays within 10km of AiSushi Markham. In my opinion AiSushi Markham is in my Top 2 out of all the other restaurants. Food quality is very consistent last 12 months or more, my family never said "today's order is not very good" or "maybe they changed their Sushi chef. It always taste good... So far.so.good Recently they control the take out pick up time very well so you don't go there at your pick up time and still wait 20-30 mins. They also have a pager system now so you can wait in your car if your order is not ready They deserve 5 stars as a take out only Japanese sushi restaurant. I really cannot compare them to those Proper authentic Japanese restaurants.

We usually get the assorted sushi-sashimi-rolls platters cash only. I would say 4 out of 5 times they're really good. The one-off time is just a bit not perfect. Good price for the quality that they give you. It's nice that you can order ahead online too. If you have their VIP card you also get 10% off. It's definitely one of my go-to place when I have some sushi cravings to go.

This is my favorite place to get deluxe donburi. The sashimi is always fresh and buttery, the rice is seasoned well, and there’s a lot of attention to detail. Not to mention, the price is unbeatable!

It’s been great until this time. I understand the price of everything is rising, but you could increase the price instead of decreasing the quality. Can’t believe what’s in the salmon rolls. See pictures. They are all salmon fish left overs.

Second time ordering delivery from Ai Sushi and had the same great experience. Sushi was ready for pickup a few minutes before the scheduled time. Platters had a lot of variety and tasted really good. $65 for a 100 piece sushi and sashimi mix is a fantastic deal. Would definitely recommend!

EDIT: Their sushi platters are still a pretty good deal and are cash only. Quality has decreased slightly or at the very least they are less consistent now. *** Ordered the 60pc platter. Food is fresh and delicious as always. Note that they get so busy that you should order a couple hours in advance, or the day before, especially for weekends.

I think this has become my go to spot for sushi! Super close to home and super fresh! Could definitely taste that it’s never frozen! Service was awesome and never felt rushed making a decision! The other amazing part is the value you get for the amount you pay! Cannot beat that! Totally coming back when sushi cravings hit again! Love this place! Cheap price for fresh, high quality sashimi! Highly recommend. Remember to order early, they usually take 2-3hrs to prepare. Also, this is not a restaurant, you cannot eat inside.

Quality of sushi and sashimi is not consistent. Sometimes food is good but there were times the sashimi was very fishy. There is no service. The lady who answers the phone is rude. Her math was wrong. Then she tells me the customer was wrong. I had to use a calculator to show her the mistake. Finally with attitude and obvious resentment, she finally gave me the right change. A very unpleasant experience! I would recommend the Richmond location. I will not go back to Markham again.
