Main Sushi

From what I was told, this location was newly bought and it's a brand new restaurant. Despite the other reviews, this place is great! The sushi is well priced and from what I can tell, it's fresh. I also tried some ton katsu don. I like the nice taste and crunchy crust with egg. Overall, the restaurant has a well priced menu especially for what you're getting.

A wonderful place for great Japanese food. Prices were reasonable and service was great! Make sure to ask for special vouchers for for first 100 customers, when you spend $100. Highly recommend this place! Parking: You could park in front of the restaurant.

Awesome sushi place on Main Street markham! Love when they have the BOGO promotions to take advantage of on ubereats! Had this a while back and I remember being very satisfied with everything that we ordered! The salmon teriyaki had the nice glaze and really loved the fish sashimi offered here! Very fresh and this place has totally been a staple of Markham Main Street for many years! Great job overall and would totally recommend coming here! I ordered the salmon poke bowl last night—one of the worst poke bowls I have ever had. There were rarely any salmon. The rice was plain, and there was no other dressing inside. I had seaweed salad many times, but the one they put in tasted like chewing plastic. On top of that, I do not know what sauce they put in to mix with the seaweed, which tastes awful. I can get a large salmon poke bowl with a much better taste and portion for the same price in other places. Overall, not worth ordering!!!!!

Favorite Sushi spot. Fresh and delicious everytime. Good Platter choice too. Prices are fair plus if you pay cash you get a discount.

Great presentation! Love the new packaging. Package adds to taste for sure! Sushi rolls never disappoints. Love the rice layering with a light taste of rice vinegar.

I’ve been coming here since 2016 — they’ve always made the best sushi and have always been so kind to me! I picked up a sushi order today after a super long day and the lady who always greets and serves you called me ‘dear’ and told me to have a wonderful night. It was a small gesture but it made my night that much better. This place is definitely a comfort shop and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice sushi dinner. :-

Decided to give this place a try. Most of the food was average at best but we ordered an order of the black cod. Big mistakes. Mushy to the point that I think it’s spoiled. Disappointed. Edit: originally gave 2 stars. Now 1.. 0 if I could as I complained and they said that the black cod is normal and suppose to be mushy/spoiled like that.

Wanted this to be good but it was really quite ‘meh’ for price and portion. Good for children and babies as the washroom has a changing table and pretty empty, plus utensil for kid. The menu has a lot of items but the description can be confusing for what has what. May be better to focus on less and do those things really well instead of adding more menu items, which allows for things to be fresher too. Was surprised to see all the other promos on the window when leaving. Running the place like downtown sushi places or strip mall sushi isn’t a good idea.

Such small portions! i ordered 16 rolls for myself FYI I'm a small person and had to find something else to eat after because I was still hungry. I asked for extra ginger - there wasn't any there. and I had to wait an extra 15mins for my order as they only started making it when I arrived. Unagi roll barely had any eel the inside had like 90% cucumber and 10% eel and all of the rolls were just so small I was pretty disappointed opening up the box.
