I went with my family and friends on 30th July. We liked the place, it was one of my 1st experience of fruit pick up, there were raspberries and blueberries for pick up, the fruits were really sweet, it is a quite good size farm house with a great ambiance. The entry fee is $15 per adult and if you need a basket for pick up then $1 for that. Fruits will have some charges based on weight etc but they do have good discounts. They do have Live Music, shop and restaurant. We did ride the tractor for a round trip within the farm, if you are planning to visit sunflower farm then best time will be mid August.
Andrew's is a great place to spend a fall day out with the family. Take a hay ride through the fields where you can stop off to pick out that perfect pumpkin or wander through endless rows of beautiful flowers. Meet the resident farm animals or take a seat by one of two fires to warm up. Enjoy some warm food and fresh made kettle corn before stopping off in the market and wine shop for delicious goodies on your way out.
Our favourite farm to go go. Not as busy as other farms, everyone who works there is so great and so kind! I needed to change my daughters diaper once, and the owner I think let me use her office upstairs to do so. It was very nice of her to accommodate me and daughter this way. The animals are too cute, and my daughter loves feeding them. Will definitely be buying a seasons pass next year, we came so much and loved every visit…never got boring.
I went to Andrew's Farm August 17, 2022 with three seniors. Unfortunately, I went too late for fruit picking but enjoyed going through the dahlias and choosing buds. Loved the separate playgrounds for toddlers and older children, the farm animals sheep, goats, chickens, etc.. The farm is large and i hope to be back next year for fruit picking. The only drawback was the tractor ride around the farm did not have seats for the senior's. Low hay seating was available for children and those who are flexible getting down and up.
A fun experience not to far outside the city- more to do for families though than a couple of adults going on their own. Definitely bring your own container if you plan on picking berries! Filled half of a big container and only paid $3 for blueberries and raspberries- cheaper than at the grocery store and more fresh!
We have come here for years and each time it's a great experience. This time, however, there was a family there with a small puppy and I overheard the dad tell this little kid to hit the puppy on the nose for play nipping what puppy doesn't?. I turned and told the little boy to never hit an animal, especially on the nose. The dad of course tried to justify it but I wasn't having it. We parted ways but a little while later two employees came up to us and thanked us for saying what they weren't allowed to say and that they don't condone that mistreatment of animals there. I really appreciated that from the bottom of my heart. I don't like seeing animals being mistreated and for it to be a puppy...AND the dad telling the TINY HUMAN to mistreat the puppy was just sickening. Thank you to those two that approached us and thanked us. Anyway! - always a great time when we go but I think the prices of stuff is getting a bit high. There's washrooms, food, tractor rides, hay piles to play on, plenty of photo opportunities, freshly made goods, a lot of land to walk, a park for the kids, merch and of course, great wine!
We enjoyed our time at Andrew’s farm. The price is cheaper compared to other places if you have younger kids. Inside the farm they have a corn maze, tractor ride, playground etc. the highlight during our visit was certainly the fields of flowers, so pretty!! They also have some farm animals etc, and you can easily spend 3 hours there. They have lunch available for sale through we do wish there are more options than just burgers and hotdogs. The workers are friendly and we picked up a pumpkin on the way out. Would come back again next year!
100% recommendlove this farm! Staff are very friendly, and strawberry picking experience from the farm is wonderful. Definitely a great place for bringing family and petsthat’s my friend’s dogs btw aren’t they super cute!?! I love their ice cream as well but we were the last mins guests and they closed by 5pm. Make sure you line up b4 5:00pm if you want the ice cream :
This is what you call a farm for picking berries. We family of 5 had an amazing time picking several types of berries over vast lands. The kids area under the tree provides the needed shade and cool breeze after a long berry hunt. There is a place to eat as well, which is just okay, but the ice cream is made of fresh berries, which everyone should try out. How do i give 6 stars to this ;
I had a good time coming here with my friends. We were late for strawberry picking but the blueberries were absolutely delicious. It was also nice seeing some farm animals.
