This is a wonderful place to get in touch with nature and do a nice long walk. There are 3 different trails and one which is off course. There are beautiful falls and a fire pit at the top of the hill. You can plan a picnic but I would not recommend carrying a cooler. Backpacks and lunch bags would be best. Wear proper footwear. Bug spray is a good idea. You have to pay to get in. $5.75 per adult. When I went it was not to busy. There are washrooms along the paths. Some people brought their bikes. If you are bringing younger children you could use a stroller on the smooth less difficult path. They all lead to the falls. Over all great place to go and try something new. You could also bring marshmallows and roast them at the fire pit if you like.

Great trial path. Uphill n down the valley trekking makes you give a fast work out. Great place to walk you dog or Gravel Bike. Follow Hilton Falls Trail to reach the water falls. Red Oak leads you round the reservoir

A beautiful place any time of year. I love taking the kids hiking here. We always bring a pack of hot dogs to cook on the fire. Bring your camera for the amazing pics you will take. The falls look amazing in the winter. The ice is out of this world. And if you think of it, bring a pocket full of bird seed (sometimes you can pick some up around the park and sometimes there's a park worker out there handing it out) - but you can literally feed the birds right out of your hands.

Great location for some creative photos and video, with very accessible trails. In both my visits, the waterfall has been more impressive in the winter than in the summer. There is a way into a clearing near the falls that you can access for some nice adventure shots/landscape. There is also a campfire that is free to use by the public to roast sausages/marshmallows, which is nice after a hike and photo session. Overall, this will always be a location in my arsenal for some creative photos and light hikes. The cost to enter is also very reasonable.

Decent length hiking trail, we came when it was slightly warmer of a February day so there was some mug but all in all it wasn't very dirty. The falls was great and there is a stack of firewood for you to keep warm, some people were grilling some food as well! Great place to take your dog on a walk, many people bring their dogs! I met a cute corgi during my hike!
