Needed an ergonomic task chair for my home office. I visited the showroom on a quiet Saturday, knowing they carried the Global chairs i have always used before. I had a nice extended discussion with Myron about ergonomic features for my purposes and different brands in the market. However they didn't have any chairs in stock that I liked for and I wanted to try before buying. Eventually, after visiting several more dealers, I found a Global chair I wanted and got a quote from ABCO based on the help they provided during my initial visit. Their pricing on the custom order was more than competitive. Don't be put off by their location in a nondescript industrial building under the rail overpass. You only want to pay to get the right furniture for your use, not overhead on a fancy showroom located on prime real estate.

Bought a Global Obusforme highback office chair (1260-3) from ABCO, and just picked up today. The chair is excellent. You can adjust it anyway you like, and is very comfortable. I mean extremely comfortable. People from ABCO are very helpful and nice. We spend 2 hours together to choose the chair that I wanted, explained to me the characteristic of different kinds of fabric, and how to adjust the chair to my comfort patiently. Price is also great. I did a lot of research and it found it is much cheaper than places like Home Depot and other stores in Toronto. For $440, I got my high back model with Schukra control fully assembled which is excellent. Delivery costs $50 extra, so I just picked up mine to save some money although it is quite heavy. Since the chair is custom made, it took Global 3 weeks to build which is a bit long. But all in all, it is a great experience to shop at ABCO Scarborough Store! 5 Stars!
