Krissy is such a great presence. She doesn’t make you feel intimidated and helps you get through the workout with ease. If you’re up for a challenge that gives great results and actually works give 9round a try. All the trainers are knowledgeable and friendly! Love this gym.

9rounds Nordel is fantastic...meeting my fitness needs.  All of the staff there are friendly and great motivators.  A special  thumbs up to the manager Krissy.  She offers encouragement, motivation, and really works hard in helping you reach your goals.

such an awesome place to work out. the trainers are so amazing, supportive and super personable. they really care about clients and helping people succeed in their goals. they push you to try your hardest and to keep going even when you feel like you can’t. krissy and karim are the best. it’s always so fun when they’re working. they really give me a tiring work out. 
the workouts are fun and really get you moving. i’ve noticed a huge change in how i feel overall after going for a month. 
coming here isn’t a drag at all. i actually look forward to coming even after a long day

This is a review based on my insight when being part of there staff,MUST READ!

As a company this is a very inepensive business. Low priced equipment to operate and high membership pricing. The trouble is convincing people to pay $100+ month. 9Round says that this price is cheap compared to personal training, which it is...BUT 9ROUND ISN'T PERSONAL TRAINING and unfortunately the staff arent qualified to even say they offer it. None is qualified as a personal trainer and have very little education and experience in the industry(5 staff total).

Another MAJOR ISSUE is that when someone wants to reach a fitness goal it's important to use individualized training with different amount of weight and exercises which can be adabted as the client gets stronger. At 9Round this DOESN'T GET DONE! They say do an extra round or work harder but their isn't a real plan of action for someone that has some weight loss and and wants to keep losing fat and build muscle. Nutrition is a whole other issue that none at 9Round Surrey offer as they don't have the tools or systems in place to actually do this. You would need hands on nutrition adjustments everyweek which is what a personal trainer would do and unfortunately not offered here. I have over heard many sales and now current manager offer nutrition guidance at the point of sale but in actuality they have no clue what to do.

I hope this review/guide helps you make a strategic decision. This wasn't written so you don't sign up but more so that you understand that $100(this is on the low end) is way too much for this and don't expect more then preliminary weight loss. After the first month you will be locked into a contract and need to have things changed up and at this company you can't have that done. Loud music and kicking and punching for 30 minutes might make you lose some weight but so would doing anything your hardest for 30 minutes a day lol. Good luck!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...A friend of mine and I were going to go together after speaking to a gentleman who was the manager 6-8 weeks ago when we called in. My friend went in alone and was told by some older girl that she was the manager now....She was then hard closed to buy a membership to then find out the employees arent even personal trainers! On top of this the memberships were over $120...DON'T BOTHER
