First time at Zilfords, and I had a great experience. Hot chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy. I got hot honey on the side and I poured it onto my sandwich. Cool thing about this place is they allow you to get your hot sauce on the side if you want to dip your sandwich into it. Taiko fries were not worth it as they don’t put the sauce onto the fries you have to dip the fries in it. Overall I would come back and recommend this spot to anybody looking for a great chicken sandwich.
Hit the food truck on Canada Day at Olympic Plaza. Service was wonderful and so friendly. The hot chicken sammie though, was burned and tasteless I got honey butter. The mac and cheese was absolutely bewildering. Is it supposed to be cold? It said mac and cheese, not macaroni salad. It was disappointing overall and we won't be visiting again.
I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and asked them to make it as hot as possible. They delivered. The blood of the sandwich ran red. I've never felt more pain in my life. I could feel my pulse in my throat. It was the best chicken sandwich I ever had.Food: 5/5
Probably one of the best fried chicken sandos I’ve ever had! Had the hot chicken sando with honey hot sauce. Deadly! My lips are tingling but my cheeks aren’t sweating, perfect heat to sweet ratio! I will definitely be back!Recommended dishesNashville Chicken Sandwiche with the Taiko Fries
We ordered Zilford’s Fried Chicken Food truck on site for our Stampede Lunch for our staff – it was a big hit. Food was amazing, staff and the service was amazing, overall a really great experience and would recommend if you are planning a function!Food: 5/5
Went to their food truck at chasing summers music festival. They ran out of everything except parm fries and regular fries. Ordered the parm fries which was advertised as 8 dollars. Paid via tap.l but noticed afterwards that they charged 12$. They said they charged me for large size but there was no large size on their board. Scammers. Just be careful to watch what you pay for as they seem to pray on people who are drunk at chasing summers. Luckily I was aware.
The food was just okay. The chicken on my chicken sandwich was burned, which is hard to do with fried chicken. To be fair, I imagine that doesn't happen every time, but it did on my visit. On top of that the sandwich itself was quite small so while the food has potential, it's never going to be a good value. The mini golf did look fun though.
Sooooo good!!!! Can't wait to try more items. Always grabbed from the food truck. Will pop into the restaurant when these restrictions lift
I got food poisoning from their food truck at badlands last Thursday, I am still in bed today Monday with horrific stomach pain diarrhea and hot and cold sweats. NO ONE SHOULD EAT FROM THEIR FOOD TRUCK
The service was great - the lady who served us was very nice. We ordered takeout and I got the 3 chicken tenders and when we got home, there was no sauce which i asked for or house slaw with it. The food was underwhelming and my chicken was dry. UPDATE: Owner reached out to me quickly and was very accommodating and understanding. He gave exceptional service from what I was expecting in order to change my experience into a positive one. Im excited to give zilfords another chance!
