Mighty Halifax Style Donair

Got the large donair and also 1 donair egg roll to try. Was my first time trying a Halifax style donair and it was pretty good. The sauce tastes great and had a nice consistency. Compared to the other donairs here, the meat here is a bit different when it comes to flavouring and cooking method. When other places slice the meat thin and saute it, it tends to be dry. Even though it's thinly sliced here, the meat is juicy and tender, so props to that. The egg roll wasn't bad but nothing special. It's donair meat wrapped in an egg roll wrapper with sweet sauce on the side. Nice little snack.

I love this restaurant it had great food. The donair has a little bit of spice on it and I love it. The donair was very juicy and had a lot of excess sauce but that made it so much better, but they give you more than enough packaging so you can stay dry. I had do french fries and they’re basic french fry with just a little bit of sea salt. I also had the deep fried pepperoni with her sauce and I would highly recommend it. The pepperoni was amazing and I really like the balance of the sweeter sauce with it and the pepperoni was perfectly cooked. The price was not bad, for large donair, small fries, the pepperoni was $30. I saw the owners and they are extremely nice and very lovely people! I am exited to go back to this restaurant when I am on my way to the dome!

I love this donair!! It’s filled with tons of meat and I love how spicy it is. They give you lots of sauce in it as well, gotta use that napkin : I really enjoyed the inside feel/decor as well, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!Recommended dishesHalifax Donair Large

Cute hole in the wall with the best donair I’ve ever had. We live in the NW but would happily make the drive for this delicious food again!

I want this place to be a 5 so badly. The vibe, the food the staff, everything is great. However although the flavour is fantastic I just don’t like how the donair meat is done in loaf form and perfectly sliced in a deli meat slicer before hand. If the meat was sliced fresh by hand this place would be a 5/5 as the sauce, pita, meat flavour is all perfect.

Excellent Donair, Service was fast. We just got donairs, tons of meat, a nice spice, great sauce, nice and thick, brought our donairs home and they weren't soggy. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Well be back for sure.

I randomly drove past, so thought I would give it a whirl. I would have to say this is my new favorite go-to donair place in Calgary, and very delicious. The donair meat is very flavorful, like nothing I've ever tasted, and the perfect blend of spice, mixed with the sweet sauce. The owner served me today and was very friendly and welcoming during my first visit. The decor and ambience is also pretty cool and unique. I'll definitely be back!

Visiting the city, I was so happy to find this gem of a spot- if I wasn’t homesick for the east coast before, I am now! The meat is perfectly spiced, and the sauce is just the right amount of sweet with perfect consistency. Warped back in time to my days stumbling home drunk for a donair at 3 in the morning, only I had my dignity this time. Thanks guys, amazing, authentic Halifax donairs! Their Donair is more than fine. Donair Eggrolls are enjoyable to eat once in a while too. Good Folk and Generous, always feeding my Dog Amigo. Cheers.

One of the best Donair's I've had since moving to Alberta from Halifax, the sauce is on point and they're one of the few places that have chris bros pepperoni which I'm sure every maritimer misses. Super cool vibes, reminded me of a Lunenburg cafe/pub.
