I always have a great time here. Everyone is super nice and they take the time with you to explain and only recommend things when necessary. Iv done maintenance and purchased a bike and could easily recommend this place.
I never post reviews online but my experience here has been so bad I decided to. Long story short: brought my bike for fixing a component of the rear wheel. Not only they did not fix it, they destroyed the whole wheel. More details below. Brought my high end mtb to change a rear bearing in the back wheel. 2 months after the deadline for having the bike ready, I called and they told me the piece was unavailable in the warehouse. Which is annoying but understandable. Unfortunately, I have to leave the country very shortly, and as such did not have time to wait. After communicating this to ziggy's, they told me they would have called me the day after. Which they did not. The week after, when I called, they told me that they were cannibalising another bike to have mine fixed, without previously asking me whether it was fine. Which was not, but I had no other choice given my time constraints. I then asked for a warranty for the piece that they substituted, in case it would have gone broken in short times, and they refused. Today, when I was trying to sell the bike, I discovered why. They not only managed not to repair my bike, they completely destroyed the whole rear wheel. Which is not only unprofessional, but also dangerous for the safety of the rider. After lot of complaints, I managed to have a refund back of the cost of their 'service', which is however incomparable with the damage they have done. I have never found a service so bad, unprofessional, and possibly even illegal. I wish I had more time to spend here in Canada to go to a lawyer. Unbelievable.
Nolan is the most knowledgeable and down to earth salesperson I've met. He is so friendly and inviting, and has all the answers. He does his research! I am so stoked to try out my new Marlin 7 and can't wait to come back to the shop for upgrades!
Have purchased several bikes now. Love the friendly staff that is always eager to help out and take the time to help us choose the right bike and fit. After sales service has also be great. They always do their best to keep me riding even through unexpected mechanical breakdowns. Have also referred many friends and clients there that also find the same fantastic buying experience. Highly recommended.
I have bought bikes and parts from Ziggy's and I have had servicing by them. Always excellent!!
My experience seems to have been different from most of the other reviewers. I have been here three times and had the same experience each time: the quality of bicycles and accessories were very good but the staff was inattentive and not helpful. That is, they seemed more interested in selling me than in answering questions. I am strictly a commuter ~ 5K/year so perhaps I am not their main customer. Anyway, overall, an average experience. Not bad, but not great.
Went for a fitting with Alex and a repair. Top notch experience. If your bike is causing you any discomfort, don't put up with it. Get it adjusted by Alex to meet your body size. Very thorough. fully recommend.
We have bought two bikes and needed accessories from Ziggy’s this year. We had an amazing experience every time we stopped at the store. Every employee was friendly, helpful, competent and accommodating. Definitely recommend for all your bike needs. Great bikes. Great staff.
I rented an ebike for a month and it was a great experience. The bike was great and when there was one little problem they came and replaced it right away. Support team was fantastic.
Mechanic Sam went way above and beyond in getting my bike back on the road before a key race. Really appreciated the fast turn-around, good communication, and high standard of service. Thank you!
