Had a very frustrating experience at this shop today. I went in to get a new tube for my bike tire and purchased it and a tire lever to install it. After getting it on I attempted to pump it up and it leaked. When I asked about it he said I should check the rim and tire for any source of puncture. There was nothing. He informed my friend and I that there was 'never a problem with tubes,' so it must have been me and there is nothing he would do about it. I also asked if it would be okay to check the tire in the shop and he said 'not in here, its nice outside...' I don't mind if he was busy or didn't want me to show the tire to him but he was very rude and short with me. He could have simply apologized that he couldn't refund me or that he was too busy to help, but nothing... I will definitely not return and was really surprised by the experience...

I was shopping for a new pair of not-completely-beginner ski. First I went to Play it Again Sports, where the staff was absolutely useless, they could only point me in the direction of the ski racks. Rather disappointed I googled for any other shop open at that time and I ended up at Ski N Cycle. It was a night and day change, I was immediately taken care of, knowledgeable guy talked me through different models they had and I came out happy with a new pair of ski that cost me pretty much the same as in that first shop (OK, maybe 10% more, which was totally worth it). I'll will come back with my bike needs too.

Severely disappointed. Had 4 pairs of skis tuned and waxed here to go on a weekend ski trip to Ellicottville. After first day of skiing, was wiping down the skis and noticed all four pairs had circular scratches on the base from toe to tail. Went back to the shop to show the owner and got the "we've been doing this for so many years, our equipment wouldn't and can't do that bla bla bla". For Mar break, went to Whistler and I went to a shop, where the master tuner was from Kitchener as fate would have it, and I showed him the circles. He knew right away the problem and had seen it before. Says highly likely there was a burr on the iron that use to wax the skis and the circles come from the circular motion you use when melting the wax with the iron. He fixed the scratches on all four pair. Extremely disappointed with the experience including lack of responsibility and knowledge by the owner. I initially had the mindset of supporting the small business owner, but this time in bit me in the ass.
