The Social Bar and Table

Very friendly customer service, the food is so delicious especially the mussels, I even finished all my fries & my husband & friend loved the oatmeal beer and oh they baked their own bread fresh to serve it with their food. We wanted to buy a loaf but they're not selling it. It's fresh. We were sitting at the bar and we saw how the kitchen crew worked so fast as a team in a small space kitchen. Everybody is working so lively & happy. Then after the big rush orders they all thanked each other saying great job guys. They re so organize in that small space kitchen. Great job guys. Wanted to go back there again after fishing. I wanted to buy something souvenir to collect that has your name on it coz that's what we usually do when we're driving out of town. Try the local restaurants.

Easy parking. We wanted chicken wings they had run out of it but they still got it somehow. Though the honey element of the wings was not to my taste. Great service. OK price. Small place but good food. Good crowd.

Second visit, loved it as much as the first. I try to make a point to stop here on my drive between Mississauga and Kingston. Amazing food, truly well done. Plus many local and high quality ingredients used. Can't go wrong.

I ordered the Reuben, on gluten free bread, because WHO can resist a Reuben? It was crispy and laden with just the right amount of pickle, sauerkraut, butter and sauce. Then I have to save about the fries. They were thin, really light, but well-browned just as I like them. They came with a garlic/basil aioli which I practically licked out of the cup it came in. The wine I ordered was a great complement to my meal. Go here!

Amazing behind the bar, amazing food, amazing fun people. Loved it and would suggest anyone that's in Port Hope go, you're in for a treat
