I had the absolute worst experience with the manager at Zara. I went to return a few items I had purchased last week, and the girl at the counter pointed out that one of the items was missing a price tag. I explained to her that I wasn’t sure if the tag was on the item when I bought it, but I had my receipt as proof of purchase.nnShe called the manager, and he approached me with a condescending tone, saying, “So, are you telling me you didn’t check the price tag before purchasing the dress?” Is this what you call customer service? Is this how you treat your customers? I told him that I didn’t check the price tag when I bought the dress—I liked it, so I bought it. Then I asked him, “Are you seriously implying that no one ever buys a dress without checking the price tag? Or is it because I’m a brown woman that you assume I would always check the price tag? Would you ask the same question to a non-person of color?”nnTo make things worse, there was another employee who has dark curly hair and appears to be south Asian girl and jumped to his defense. I’ve seen her multiple times at the store, and I don’t approve of how she treats customers differently based on appearances. For instance, one day I went dressed up, and she greeted me warmly, but on another day, when I was wearing sweats, I got no acknowledgment. I’ve noticed her doing this repeatedly, particularly with brown customers.nnBoth the manager and this employee need serious training on professionalism and treating customers with respect. You both need to do better.
Poor customer service and terrible return policy. 30 days return policy is unrealistic over the holidays when people shop for holiday gifts in November and are then away during the holidays. I was told they did extend the policy to the Dec 30th but again this is not realistic for those that are out of town.
The manager wont give me his name is always rude to every customer. Been coming to this Zara from long, he’s always super ignorant and rude.nnIts a customer service role, be a little more respectful and polite!

After 10 minutes of the store being closed, the team came to my situation and picked out clothes for a very important meeting for me. We picked out a great look, the whole team approached with understanding and respect, even though they should have already gone home, this shows the high level of service at Zara. I come to this store very often … never had an issue … but today ! Worst customer service ever ! Bad thing I did not ask cashiers name as I was disgusted about how she handle the situation … but I can send you my receipt so you can find out who was …nToday I went and bought 2 items … the cashier asked my number so I can get my receipt … it happened so fast that I just realized I wanted the receipt printed ….nI was a nice an polite customer and I asked her if was possible to print it … this girl got mad at me and was giving me a hard time about it … saying that it may take long, that why i did not say this before … bla bla bla … she was basically being mean …nIf you are working just do your job ! If a customer makes a mistake !! Just do your job whit-out complaining … And common sense … if you don't like to do what you do ! Change your job ! But don't give a hard time to the customers !nZara ! Your employees need to be trained ! The customer always will have the reason !!
