I had the absolute worst experience with the manager at Zara. I went to return a few items I had purchased last week, and the girl at the counter pointed out that one of the items was missing a price tag. I explained to her that I wasn’t sure if the tag was on the item when I bought it, but I had my receipt as proof of purchase.nnShe called the manager, and he approached me with a condescending tone, saying, “So, are you telling me you didn’t check the price tag before purchasing the dress?” Is this what you call customer service? Is this how you treat your customers? I told him that I didn’t check the price tag when I bought the dress—I liked it, so I bought it. Then I asked him, “Are you seriously implying that no one ever buys a dress without checking the price tag? Or is it because I’m a brown woman that you assume I would always check the price tag? Would you ask the same question to a non-person of color?”nnTo make things worse, there was another employee who has dark curly hair and appears to be south Asian girl and jumped to his defense. I’ve seen her multiple times at the store, and I don’t approve of how she treats customers differently based on appearances. For instance, one day I went dressed up, and she greeted me warmly, but on another day, when I was wearing sweats, I got no acknowledgment. I’ve noticed her doing this repeatedly, particularly with brown customers.nnBoth the manager and this employee need serious training on professionalism and treating customers with respect. You both need to do better.
I've encountered problems at this location multiple times. Most importantly the staff at this locations is EXTREMELLY rude and unwelcoming. Online order pick up or returns line is exceptionally slow and the cashiers seem so annoyed and miserable every time. The manager should definitely do some customer service training for everyone at the store. Going forward, I will avoid this location at all times.nn**Note to the girl with dark, curly hair, don't act like you own the store because you don't and if you don't like your job - change it.***
Zara’s clothing quality doesn’t really justify the price. While the styles are trendy, the materials and durability often fall short. It looks good at first, but after a few washes, the quality starts to show its flaws.
I have a pair of Zara jeans that ripped in the rear after less than a year of wear. I live 5 hours away from the store that they were purchased from. I contacted online support and they said they could not do anything and I had to see the store manager in person. I asked if there was a phone line and they said there was no direct public line. I can’t drive 5 hours 10 hour round trip to get my jeans replaced. Very unhappy with the Zara support solutions online.
Awful! Not qualified store Manager in Robson #18610 Janeen with no skill of customer satisfaction about a damaged bad quality top from Zara! Purchased so many things till now. Shame on Zara
