Recipient of the Waterloo Chronicle's Readers’ Choice Award in 2010, Yummyaki is an all-you-can-eat Japanese eatery serving fresh, authentic Japanese/Korean foods prepared fresh by chef owners.

Also voted by Record's Readers' as 2010 favourite sushi in town!

Edit I tried it again . It's much better this time . Will go again ***** Good little place. Good service, all you can eat sushi is ok . The rice is a little too sticky for my taste. Place is cozy

The food here is great, the service is equally great, the smaller size and older look makes it feel a bit more cozy then the other major players around here. That said, the price is quite alot, especially considering that it's the same all you can eat menu. The difference between Monday -Thursday lunch vs weekend dinner is too large a price gap for the same service and food.

Great helpful and friendly service. At first glance you might think it's expensive, but I found the quality to be very good and I will go back again. Food was beautifully presented.

A nice dinner. Food comes quickly and is well made. When ordering from the menu instead of doing all you can eat a few more combo options would be good since many of them come with eel which may not be everyone's thing. Decent non-sushi options are available as well.

By far, the best all-you-can-eat sushi joint I've ever been to. It's a mom-and-pop shop, so you'll find no fancy iPad ordering system, just a laminated menu card and a paper order slip. Cost per person is very good, considering that the food is super-fresh, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Their tempura is the best I've ever had! We've also ordered delivery from them through Just Eat, and have been as impressed with that as eating in-restaurant (expectations adjusted to consider that sushi usually doesn't travel well). You'd be hard-pressed to find a better sushi restaurant, I think.
