Yours Outdoors

Lots of fun! My 11-year-old, spouse, and I went for a 1:30-4:30 outing on a Friday in early May. We met our guide in Wilberforce and followed him by car to the site. He showed us the tools and a couple of mineral samples, gave us some safety information, and off we went. We walked through the forest no woodchipped or gravel path, and it was really nice to chat with the three other guests. My family has no mobility issues but it's not a path for anyone with uncomfortable on unsteady legs. There are small climbs and lots of places to slip into the mud. The site itself was secluded and really nicely set up. Our guide talked us through what to look for and what we would find. The tools were good quality and there was no pressure to work any harder than you wanted to. My 11-year-old had plenty of questions and our guide was eager to talk about minerals and more. We left feeling like we'd learned a bunch about minerals and rock hounding. My favourite part of the trip was the guide's enthusiasm for his work. He really likes minerals and rocks! This was worth the money for a natural adventure.

I set up some private snowmobile tours with Barrie from Yours Outdoors. He was so professional & easy to deal with. Barrie will be my go to guy for all my winter fun. Yours Outdoors is AWESOME. - thank you again - JAY T

We had SO much fun with Steve, we wish we coulda invited him over for dinner afterwards. We did the guided ice fishing tour as a group of 4, late to book so we missed out on snowmobile rentals but still had a ton of fun walking to the lake. It was on our ‘must try one day’ list and so glad we landed with Yours Outdoors for the adventure. I will definitely be browsing other available tours in the near future.

Did the try it ice climbing experience. I had a great time. Would definitely go back for a full day next time.

We were a party of 7 and sadly the person who gifted us this great experience was sick and couldn't make it. Terry and Jen were fantastic hosts! Terry guided us through the entire glass blowing experience all the while educating us and sharing stories. He provided each of us with the same quality experience...what a patient man he is. Jen provided a fantastic, yummy lunch. We visited their shop and each of us left with some fantastic pieces. We ended our session by watching Terry and Jen work together as they crafted a beautiful glass bee. It was incredible to watch them work together. Highly recommend.

We took part in the Predator Prowl event where we were introduced to a real live wolf pack and some amazing birds of prey. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and the opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close was something truly special! We recommend this excursion to anyone interested in a local wildlife experience in a safe and educational environment. Awesome!!!

We have now done two Yours Outdoor sessions, Glass and Gears, and Snowshoe into the Canada's Past. Both were fantastic. Both provided hands on novel experiences with an expert guiding us and sharing their experiences, stories and insights. Yours Outdoors concept is unique and delivered in a wonderfully engaging way. We look forward to our next Yours Outdoors adventure

We took a skate ski lesson with Yours Outdoors and it was awesome! So much fun and our instructor was really great. We learned a lot in 2 hours, got the basics down and are now hooked on the sport! We look forward to trying more experiences with Yours Outdoors in the future! Thanks again!

We did rockhounding with John at the start of May for my 6 year old's birthday and everyone had a blast. John was very knowledgeable and delivered the information in a way that the kids were involved and understood. We found a bunch of different minerals and my son still talks about it weeks later
