Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd

Halliburton Forrest and wildlife reserve is one of the best places for the whole family to come enjoy the outdoors. They have hundreds of kilometres of trails for mountain biking with 5 shelter cabins to take cover if the weather turns bad. There is much much more, give them a try and you will find that you will return year after year. Hope to see you on the trail.

Being able to get so close to the wolves and view them in their natural habitat is a great experience. Seeing Hershe the bull moose close up was also a thrill, so gentle, so kind. If you are up in Haliburton you owe yourself the, at least, half day trip to see the sights and explore.

Went snowmobiling in February. Trails are well groomed, wide, & well marked. So many trails to ride & lakes to go across. There's different points to stop at like lookouts. It makes for a good day. Want to go back & experience it in the summer. The prices are reasonable.

Visited March 3/2018 for maybe the last sled ride of the season...trails were icy and bare spots just like they said on the phone no sugar coating which I appreciated and not their fault. Staff are phenomonal from the base camp to the restaurant to the dog sled compound and the wolf centre! Food was great! Check out Hershe the resident moose! Fantastic experience keep it up!

We had an amazing time today on the half day tour. The staff was friendly and the dogs are beautiful. We highly recommend it!!
