The definition of a happy camping place is not here. Management refused to fix boat docks and as a result my husband was injured, all that was done after repeated askings was “well get your boat out then”. A week later with no explanation we were told to leave the trailer park. We had 5hrs todo so. Mommy and little boy worse ever. And yes Tom we did camp there and we know, your googling about this but anyone can look at our pictures on Dave s site. In closing your a pathetic little man and your mother is simply a waste of space. Thanks for nothing and now that my son is out too, I can say wholeheartedly by by and no loss except for our camper friends who are finishing there season with you too!!
Camp next door seems a clean place
I went to visit a friend. Got yelled at for not registering my car immediately. I just wanted to put some groceries away and and bring my stuff in. I get rules, but geez. I've been to other parks before and did the same. Never got screamed like this place did. At every other place they just kindly told me to register before the office closed. Not this place. I'm afraid to go back.
My family and I had a great stay at this park! The people around the park were very friendly and welcoming. However, I did notice that the kids playground was very old and run down. This was VERY disappointing because I have kids of my own, and I'd like for them, and for all the kids I have seen at the park, to have a fun and safe place to play. They have a soccer, volleyball, and basketball net there that I think could use some work as well. Usually the kids would be playing with these activities, but none seemed to be around, and I can see why. Renovations seriously need to be done. Another thing is that the guest fees are EXTREMELY high! $$$ It was the most expensive fee out of all the parks I have been to. Other than that, I had a good stay.
I used to have a fifth wheel trailer and deck on a corner lot by the river, and it was heaven. So dark at night, peaceful and a great escape. The park is clean, the people are wonderful and I miss it! I haven't been there for a number of years so don't know what it's like now. Probably new owners for sure.
Had a tour of the park today by the owner Tom, park is beautiful well kept, and the owner was really friendly and hospitable, looking forward to a great summer at that park!
I had the pleasure of learning about Lutterworth Valley Park from Tom and would highly recommend it to anyone with kids and wanting a great camping experience.
We had a seasonal site last year and we found the area to be quite pretty. The huge downside and deal-breaker was how unfriendly the owner and parents were. The campers we met were all so unhappy. Owners rarely had a friendly wave, most often drove by without one and were quick to ask for fee add on $ whenever they could. Even for our granddaughter to visit and a brother to pop in for lunch. Don't rent here.
STAY AWAY!! The owners are the BIGGEST CLOWNS I HAVE EVER MET... I would highly recommend to stay away.. Tom makes up new rules every day. If I could give this park a zero rating I would.. If you want to give your money to CLOWNS this is your park...
Very clean and organized trailer park, that will satisfy everyone! We fell in love with this park on our first visit, to our family here; next year we were here, and every time being here we really enjoy this place. The location of this place is really, really nice, and picture like admirable. Having camera we have thousands of pics from this place and the surrounding areas, in the range of 1hr drive. Proximity to Minden 15 - 20 min. drive allows one's to buy some supplies, or to get something from few stores if needed, such as propane, or tools, etc. It is a small town, but has few stores that cover most needs one may have Canadian Tire, Mark' Works, 2 food stores, Kawathra ice cream store, Home Depot, Liquor/Beer Store, TD bank, just a few. Huntsville town is only 90 minutes away, or the Dorset with its tower, or Kinmount village 20 minutes from park with its secrets places for a picnic, or its Labor Day fest, that is our strong recommendation to see it, especially kids. Our kids cannot wait till it is open; they love to explore this park to find new critters to play with, or to enjoy a bicycle ride nice, kids save, kept condition, or to play a ball in a playfield. Another place here everyone will love is a beach very clean sand to play with. Water is clean and warm, and save for swimming or play to everyone. Passing boats always obey rules of the water and slow down when passing by, and waving to people on the bank. There are plenty of docs to park your own boat, or just come to visit for a day or two. And the lovely sand plenty of it to play with that all kids really enjoy their time when having a brake from swimming or playing in water. It is difficult time to call them back to trailer, when they playing here. Owners are really nice people and friendly to everyone; very busy to keep this place in order for everyone to enjoy time being there. They organize some park activities for adults and kids; almost every weekend there is something to enjoy or play, for all families. Many trailers owners are helping them in these activities and it is real fun to watch how everyone is enjoying time. For new comers the secret is to check the information board, where there are plenty of info of future activities, or just general rules. Every place has rules that must be obeyed, and there is no different here, to benefit of all trailer owners. We enjoy walking around the park, saying hello to everyone we see, and making new friends if possible; and to my surprise, people are friendly here, willingly sharing info of interesting places around. Nearby roads are really nice for a walk, enjoying some nice cottages on the lake Moore. Great thanks to the owners of this wonderful park, for their hard and devoted work they providing here; they deserved it! We strongly recommend this trailer park to everyone!
