Amazing experience! We were lucky enough to see the whole pack, such majestic creatures! We went on a Thursday evening, no lineups, bought tickets at the counter and spent the entire afternoon there. The museum was very informative about wolfs. If you’re an animal lover you’d love it, kids would love it. Nice way to spend family time.
Amazing experience and amazing establishment! Two of us came with the expectations of seeing the facilities and learning about wolves, knowing it was likely we would not get to see them at all, but we got very lucky! The entire pack of 6 wolves was in clear sight of the viewing area for the majority of our tour, and I was able to get some amazing pictures. Photographers - bring a good zoom lens and maybe a polarizer filter to shoot through the glass. The museum aspect of the centre is also nice - there's a lot of history as well as models and information on other wildlife in the Haliburton Highlands. Staff were very informative and answered all the questions of our group. Would love to return :
We were extremely lucky to see three wolves during the 1.5 hours we stayed at the center especially it was the day after feeding day. Lots of interested exhibits to better understand the wolves habitat. Staffs were very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions.
So cool! Despite having a family cottage nearby for over a decade, I had never been to the Wolf Centre. So glad we took the time to go- finally! Due to the pandemic, we had to book our time in advance, but in all reality this was a good thing. We had more space and more time to view and learn about the wolves and their habitat! Pricing is reasonable, protocols safe, and definitely a great place for people of all ages. There is also an adjacent campground, including pig farm I wonder why ;-, walking/biking trails, outdoor activities, picnic area and cookhouse. Worth checking out!
Cool place. You need a bit of luck to actually see the wolves, you get 90 minutes. Price reasonable. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of displays, gift shop, movie room, parking, washroom. Recommended for photography or families.

They have nice and clean museum, where you can see wolf's from one-sided glass window. We love museums so it was good for us to visit. The Halliburton Forest Wolf Centre is a must if your driving by, staying around or just live in the area it's a must! When you get in it's amazing they have displays of a moose, raccoon, beaver and more! When you go up the hallway towards the wolf viewing area you can see photos of all the deaseced wolf's and how long they lived for. It was stunning seeing all the wolves running around in there 7 acre habitat. You must go here!!!!
This place was incredible. There are wolves, and Hershey, the resident moose : I bought a couple great books for my friends classroom. We spent about 1.5 hours watching the wolves, but there's tons to do. If you like snowmobiling, they have trails, and it was the last weekend for dog sledding! Tons of outdoor activities, and the drive up was absolutely gorgeous. I HIGHLY recommend!
