An exceptional yoga school that allows you to work towards your certifications at your own pace. I began training with YogaFit shortly after completing my undergrad and the modular format allowed me to save up for a training and attend it when it worked best for me and my schedule. I liked that there was no time limit for completing all of the required trainings for the 200hr program. It took me about 3 years to complete - completing 2 or 3 trainings per year. Being able to spread out my education allowed me the opportunity to start practicing what I have learned and integrating the material how I learn best. It also meant that I wasn't spending a large amount of money all at once - bonus! Jamming a lot of new information into one month does not work for me, but if that's what you prefer they also offer a month long 200hr intensive. Besides being flexible in terms of no time limits and being able to choose when and where you want to attend the trainings, the education itself is invaluable. In each training you are able to practice the practical skills acquired in an inclusive group setting which prepares you to feel confident and ready to teach. You learn how to communicate effectively, proper alignment for each pose and a variety of modifications to suit each student regardless of their skill level. What I didn't expect when choosing YogaFit as my yoga education provider was how much I would grow as an individual. I have truly transformed into the best possible version of myself and because of this I have continued to take trainings with YogaFit including the 100hr YogaFit for Warriors trauma-sensitive yoga program and I am currently working towards my 300hr certification. I am forever grateful for the YogaFit community and all of the life long friends that I have met along the way.
