We also want to add to Edmonton's local food scene by sharing what we know and love.We are literally that "Mom and Pop shoppe". The place you go to when you want something sweet, unique, and a cold treat on those cold winter days...and of course, on hot summer days too!"

I loved the ambiance and quaint feeling of this Ice cream parlor. It's located on white Avenue. Parking is always an issue on white Avenue but there are many paid parking areas. It's lovely to walk on this street especially in the evening as both sides of the street are lighted with different restaurants, shops etc. The building itself looks older and is well maintained but inside it more modern and bright . The seating and decorations gives you a very relaxing atmosphere. There is a variety of flavours of ice cream to choose and some are unique to this place.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting yelo'd, the delightful ice cream shop cafe on Whyte Ave in Edmonton. This place is truly a gem that brings Filipino flavors and culture to the forefront of its offerings. The unique twist on classic flavors like Ube is a delightful surprise for the taste buds, and it's evident that a lot of care has gone into crafting these distinct treats. The atmosphere at yelo'd is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy some sweet indulgence. The variety of flavors available, from the nostalgic Ube to other innovative creations, ensures that there's something for everyone. One can truly appreciate the effort taken to showcase the rich Filipino culinary heritage through these delectable ice creams. But yelo'd doesn't stop at ice cream alone. Their range of desserts, including ice cream sandwiches, brownies, and cakes, is equally impressive. Each bite is a flavorful journey that pays homage to Filipino traditions while incorporating modern twists. It's evident that the chefs and creators behind yelo'd have a deep passion for their craft. The service at yelo'd is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a fan of Filipino cuisine or simply looking to explore new and exciting flavors, this place has something special to offer. If you're in Edmonton, a visit to yelo'd is a must for a delightful and culturally enriching treat. Since i wanna do this review right, I wanna add something wonderful about yelo'd is that it's dog-friendly! As long as you're holding your furry friend, you can both enjoy the delicious Filipino-inspired flavors and treats together in the cozy atmosphere of the cafe. It's a fantastic place to share a sweet experience with your canine companion.
5 stars easy! I love their new location! Cleanliness 5/5! Friendliness of staff 5/5! Food 5/5!Plenty of paid parking. Price is on the higher side but we’ll worth it! I love their halo halo but I wish they have an option to add pinipig to make it more authentic Filipino! We will definitely come here often! Their ice creams are delicious!
Sooo good! Their new location is spacious, clean, and they have so many flavours and options! The location can be easy to miss, but it's on main floor of the white columned building on Whyte Ave the Dominion Hotel. My favourites are pandan and jackfruit! Ube is very good too. If you like coffee, the affogato is good! I personally really like the soft serve and icecream. I didn't really like the pandan latte. The pandan flavour wasn't very strong so it tasted like a regular latte. It was also $7, which I think is a bit expensive. Overall, great staff, menu selection, location, and icecream! A bit expensive for certain items, like drinks. I wouldn't recommend getting the latte.
I loved this ice cream—different and exquisite flavour. I recommend trying the pistachio—a cozy and well-decorated environment full of desserts and ice creams.
One of my all time favorite ice cream places in the city! Their calamansi lemonade, ube s'mores tart, and ice cream were so high quality. Their staff members are great and all the tables were full. The shop space was comfortable, had good lighting, and did not feel crowded. Absolutely worth stopping by but be prepared to wait in line. Can't wait to go back on the next warm day!
Very trendy Philippine ice cream shop. Was really tasty and something different. The purple yam was delicious. Lots of seating and space to chill with friends and family
Definitely deserved the 5 star reviews! Good ambiance, lots of tables inside to hang out with friends. Ice creams are yummy. Staff are friendly and nice.
I really love Yelod but this time I'm disappointed for the 3rd time trying their pastries. Their ice cream are really amazing however their pastries don't hit the spot that much. Last time I find their cakes a bit dry and this time I tried their mango and ube cheesecake and good lord I only had 1 bite and I can't finish it. My friend had a bite too and don't approve. The cheesecake taste too much of cream cheese and can't really taste the ube or mango part. I hope they be able to improve their pastries. Will still go back for the ice cream tho.
Super popular place - they have a line out the door on a Tues night. It took us about 15min wait to order. They're a little understaffed, and it takes some time to make some items. We ordered the mango ice cream, which has a great mango flavour. We also tried the halo halo, which is an iced south east Asian dessert that's hard to find. It was $12 and hit the nostalgia spot for my parents, so worth a try if you're craving shaved ice. They have a nice selection of cakes and interesting flavoured desserts too.
