This place is awesome. Please come and check it out because I want this place to thrive!! There’s a reading nook with some cool books, the vibe and aesthetic is so good -retro 90s. Coffee and treats are prime and you can get booze. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. This is my new favourite cafe. Came here on a Sunday just before close. I’ll be back for sure!

All baked from scratch, you can taste the ingredients in every bite, great new place in town, good ambiance.

Went here when it opened at 12 on Thursday to try it out since I was in the neighborhood. Place was brand new and it was fresh and clean inside. Spacious and lots of seating. Staff were super friendly! I got a mocha and a phat tart to try out. Mocha was good and I like the fact that they roast and grind their own beans. That’s a big deal for me. The phat tart was good and I like the blueberry filling. I think it was a day old because it wasn’t that crispy. It would’ve been a plus if they asked if I wanted it warmed up. Who doesn’t love a warm pastry? I also bought a strawberry oat bar, rainbow cheesecake and a brookie to go to try at home. The cheesecake was great! The crust was buttery and wasn’t too thin. The brookie was also good, nice and moist. The strawberry bar was really good too. The oat crust had the right sweetness and needs more strawberry in my opinion. Overall I really like this place. The only downside is that it’s a far drive for me to go there. Next time I’m there I want to try the lemon bar, the cookies, macarons and the cake slices. To the owner, keep up the good work!

Phatbar’s become a regular spot for my friends and me to get together. Edmonton doesn’t have enough quality cafes open late. To have a cafe that has some of the best baked goods and great vibes makes it that much more special.

I cannot say how much I adore this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the beverages and sweet treats are AMAZING I highly recommend the rainbow cheesecake, And the vibe is the best! From the the excellent decor to the free mortal combat machine this place is simply to die for!

We tried the earl grey lemon cake. It was amazing, my kids were dancing in their seats they loved it so much. The icing, lemon layers and cake were individually their own amazing flavours, and all together it was a dream. The staff were so great and everything was comfortable but also very fun. We will be back!

I went twice last week. The staff is wonderful. Their coffee is great. The baking is phenomenal. Their cheesecake squares are TOP NOTCH, I dream about them!
