Where have you been? I must be living under a rock. It was on 23 Ave when I was doing some errands and randomly saw a truck already parked in front of a store. The flavour I got was Mangga S'mores. Really good ice cream not overly sweet. I can see the S'mores concept with graham crackers and marshmallows. You can taste a hint of mango but I wish the mango flavour is a bit stronger. However I don't want manga flavour that punches you in the face to show that your ice cream is mango flavour instead a bit more subtle mango flavour is preferable.
Ordered the pistachio, pandan, and the tiger. The pandan and the pistachio flavor really paired well together on a single cone. The exotic flavor from each really stood out and it's a good change of pace from typical ice cream flavors. The tiger was a bit too sweet for me, but was still really good. I was a bit disappointed as I heard from Instagram that it was 2$ a scoop, but it could've been me misunderstanding the post.
10/10 the best ice cream in Edmonton. The Filipino Neopolitan is the best flavor in my opinion. The staff are super friendly. I love this truck so much. I often drive to other parts of the city just to have it.
2022 June 2.5 You'll find this mobile truck among many places of interest. Found this at the Sir Winston Churchill Square during a summer festival. Buko Pandan in a waffle. About $7-$8 Made of Coconut and Pandan leaves, I found this to be too artificial tasting. Texture is ok and the waffle was decent. Might just be this flavor as positive reviews are mostly on other flavors. With the variety of unique flavors, it is worth trying at least once.
One of the best ice creams in Edmonton! They offer a variety of Asian flavoured ice creams including Ube and pandan! I always make sure to get some every summer season!
Love this ice cream to no end absolutely recommend trying all the flavors if you get the chance. The truck frequents many spots all around Edmonton and area
Seriously the best ice cream. They are at the top of my favorites list for local food business. Highly encourage to go get some goodies from them!
A Big Big thanks to Sosyal Scoops for making me fall in love with Ube Cake. I have been to Yelo’d but that time, i tried Ube soft serve. Keso+Ube Cake at Sosyal is a big hit and the taste of ube cake which you get in the ice cream is very appealing. I also tried their Filipino Neapolitan but honestly, that was not much appealing in taste as compared to the ube one. I am looking forward to try their other hand crafted ice creams next summer.
Indulged in some cones from the truck set up at Kinsmen Park. Flavours are delicious and unique. Their cone option is a waffle cone! One scoop filled the cone and then some. The child enjoyed the Filipino Neapolitan, I had a blueberry and my husband had a strawberry tea.
The milk tea and strawberry ice cream combination was not one I was ready for. Top tier combo that has me looking to come back for more!
