Ye Skewers Hot Pot

Check out ye skewer hotpot! It was the best food I’ve had in ages and I’m already looking for a reason to head back out from Burlington to Aurora. This business started amidst Covid chaos and deserves a tonne of customers, we went at 2pm or so and it was quiet, luckily! The service was wildly good and he explained everything to help us have the best experience. The soup bases were so tasty and the add-ins were delicious and fun to cook too! They have a dip and condiment bar with sauces and toppings for your hot pot items. It’s nice because you can try a little of everything and order as you’d like so you end up with the right amount of food.

First time doing hot pot ever. Staff was kind and explained the process to us. The induction plate built into the table was a really cool setup. Whole restaurant was clean and tidy, bright and welcoming. Great selection of meat and veggies to cook in the soup/broths. Food was great quality and great portions for all you can eat.

Enjoyed a hot pot dining experience at Ye Skewers in late August 2021. Dining here would be a very memorable dining experience and excellent intro for those who have not tried hot pot and is also a worthwhile visit for those who enjoy good hot pot. Pleasant first impressions as the restaurant is clean, bright and well laid out. The food items for the hot pot are fresh and of great variety, many on skewers. So after cooking the food item in the boiling broth like spicy peppercorn or mild mushroom at your table, it is handy to pick up a skewer and enjoy the morsel of food. Other items are placed in the broth and can be picked out as desired by the diners. Ideal for couples and fun for larger groups especially with the skewers. You can also create your own dipping sauce at the food station to bump up the flavour experience. And there are buns and spring rolls to compliment your hot pot, plus free ice cream. I really enjoyed it and recommend dining here.

Great quality meat, customer service and delicious soup base options. Lots of choices to choose between from the soup base, to the meats/seafood, vegetables and side dishes. The staff explained clearly how to order since it was our first time here. They were very friendly and helpful and the food came out quickly. We loved having ice cream to finish off our meal with! We will definitely be back!

Finally we can get hot pot in Aurora! Fantastic place. Super generous amounts of food. Excellent staff. Super fresh food. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing place. Totally 5 stars. Super clean too.

Really clean and great hotpot place!! Lots of variety for their AYCE menu including duck blood and frog legs COVID measures were in place and well enforced too Would recommend coming

Excited to find out there is a new AYCE hot pot in the area. Food was surprisingly decent and has a wide range of selections but the service was not sufficient. We showed up around 3pm and the sauce&dessert bar were all empty. There was a few customers eating at that time but no waiter comes up and welcomed us. The girl who serves us is also bit of clumsy. Hope the service could improve when I come next time.

Good hotpot option in the Aurora/Newmarket area. Lots of veggie selection. Staff is attentive and polite. Wish they can keep the sauce table a bit more tidy - the soy sauce and vinegar containers can use some wiping/disinfecting those bottles were very sticky to the touch. Otherwise the place is clean. Food tastes good. Will go back again.

Pickled cabbage fish broth was delicious! Very friendly staff though I did have to remind them about some missing items. Not the end of the world as they came out after reminding them. Great service.
