Empire Chef

Really good food here! I ordered the #C1 - sweet and sour pork / chicken chop suey / chicken fried rice. It was nice and fresh, the chicken chop suey was amazing.

I thought that Empire Chef was the type of fast food restaurant that catered to non Asians. But I was so wrong and so pleasantly surprised!!! Not only was the lunch special pricing amazing, the shear weight of the takeout container made me smile. The food was delicious!!! I like Congee Queen type of food, and Empire Chef made me happy.

So disappointed in our order. Prices are decent but you’re definitely getting what you pay for. We ordered three dishes and none are even half decent. The chicken fried rice is bland, the peas are hard. The veggie Shanghai noodles have three pieces of broccoli and a few thin pieces of mushroom. The noodles are prepared in some strange red sauce. Not tasty. Very disappointed.

This is my go to place in town. I enjoy the food and they know "my usual" order. They are accurate when they tell me how long it will take.Food: 5/5

Very unsatisfactory food. Chow mein was overly dressed with squeeze bottle brown sauce. Black pepper beef was over peppered, and only had 5% beef.

Tried to give this place a second opportunity after a year hoping the quality of food might have improved, but to our dispair it was still disappointing. The sesame chicken tasted like it was fried in some very old oil and had the after taste of bitter bad oil. I am not sure if it's the cooking or the quality of ingredients used but I really hope they look into it. Except for noodles, everything gave us the guilt of eating unhealthy. Rice was not cooked completely so we had to throw away the steamed rice box that came along with the order. My little guy got an upset stomach which was the most horrifying part. The staff is polite and friendly. The place is pretty economical we ordered 4 items and paid only $50 and change

I didn't actually eat here, but went in and the gentleman at the counter was kind enough to let me use their bathroom anyways. Felt their kindess was deserving of some attention, great staff here!

General Tso Chicken lunch combo is always fresh and delicious and never disappoints.
