YunShang Rice Noodle - Aurora

Five stars well earned! Serving unlimited rice noodles with your choice of soup that comes with 10 sides. I enjoyed the Coconut Curry Soup which was flavourful and not oily. The noodles were the perfect texture. Definitely recommend dining here. Just know you’ll most likely have to wait for a table and then some time for your meal, but I guarantee it’s worth it.

Came on a Sunday for lunch. We ordered the original rice noodle soup $12, tomato rice noodle soup w/ beef slices & enoki mushrooms $14, and popcorn chicken $10. Food came out fast and service was also good. I especially liked how the original rice noodles soup was served very hot. Eating it was super comforting. Also, the portions sizes were pretty big and you can get unlimited noodle refills for the original rice noodle soup. Overall, a pretty good spot as the prices are decent and food was very comforting.

Big fan of the Duck Blood with chilli sauce rice noodles. Very generous portion and a lot of toppings. I like the sweet Cantonese sausage soaked in the spicy soup. It’s so surprised to have some delicious Smoked pig intestines here. Nice try

Updated Review: Seems quality has changed again, for the better. Changing review to a 5 star! I always seem to get the unlimited tomato noodle now and popcorn chicken when with family. The meat is so soft, corn is good, and all the other sides as well. They have rolled out a membership for $20 where you get a coupon book and discounts but can only use one; if use a coupon you won’t get a discount. Flavours good, noodles cooked, yummy meat! Good for rainy days. — Came on the Thursday for a party of 5. There was a short wait given that it was the start of the long weekend and we needed a big table, but fair timing. We have been here before, and staff is always quick and tentative. It is a smaller restaurant but turnover is quite fast. Bright interior but tables against the walls are a bit close to each other, also have booths. The washroom was not well maintained. Was disappointed in this time’s visit as the quality and taste of the tomato rice noodle seems to have went down… Had it as takeout and dine-in several times prior and it has always been good— not sure if this is because it was busy or what. Food came fast and served hot. Popcorn chicken is salty but good crunch, comes with a sauce that I didn’t care for. The portion of noodles that come with the Tomato Rice not unlimited was enough, probably around the portion of 2 bowls of noodles for the unlimited, plus ample amount of beef and enoki mushroom. My brother always gets the original soup as he likes to have a bit of all the toppings, extra charge if you want to add more of an item. Overall, decent price for food but quality has gone down since I last came hence the 3 star. Good place for a quick bite.

Extra star for being vegetarian-friendly. The left tray is for "normal", they were very accomodating when we ordered a tomato soup base + asked for vegetarian option and they added extra vegetables for taking out the meat Great to see restaurants being vegetarian-friendly!

Spicy & sour rice noodle soup with beef and enoki mushroom - 85/100 it’s more sweet spicy rather than sour spicy Chinese sauerkraut fish noodle soup coriander - 90/100 different layer of spicy taste, hot metal bowl keeps hot until the end, very good Cold cut chicken with chilli - 70/100 chicken too old Staffs are attentive, seats are clean and comfortable.

Saw all the good reviews here and this restaurant definitely deserves it. The noodles stays al dente even after a long time in the soup. The taste of the soup was excellent. Had some popcorn chicken Taiwanese style and crispy chicken gristle with garlic - both were great. The staff was attentive and service was really good.

I always come here when I need to run errands in Newmarket from RH. This and other locations have yet to fail me. The soup base are delicious and it's one of the more affordable places to go to I usually order the spicy cross bridge rice noodle and the original flavour. Both soup bases taste AMAZING. If you've never had cross bridge rice noodles before, just know that all the ingredients come in cute small plates and you put them in your still boiling soup base so they're cooked on the spot. I've ordered their premade options as well and they are just as delicious. Best part, UNLIMITED NOODLE REFILLS. So if you're fat like me this is a blessing. Parking: It big.

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and always order the beef and enoki mushroom spicy soup. It’s always so tasty and piping hot! I’ve had the soup where you add all the topping to it but IMO the spicy sour soup has so much more flavour. Pig ear and celery salad or seaweed are my favourite appetizers. Popcorn chicken and chicken wings are good too. and VIP member 10% off! Very delicious, always leave feeling satisfied!

I love this place, always get the spicy and sour beef soup. Definitely big portions and reasonable prices. Everything tastes fresh and healthy, not too greasy. Perfect meal for the cold weather. The red bean patties are also delicious. Highly recommend
