Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill

Atmosphere loved it. But the lights were dimmed way too low. The food was fantastic. I'm definitely going back to try other new things. service was great. Waitress was polite, although I would appreciate it if the next time she told me about the beer sizes because I wanted an order of a 7 dollar beer and ended up paying 10 dollars when I specifically said I wanted the 7 dollar beer but it's okay in all the experience was nice and lovely. I also ordered the blue cheese and bacon burger. And my bf ordered the regular burger, which was very yummy.

Well now. We had a choice between Gigi’s pizza or to try a new restaurant. So we went to Ye old Orchard in the Pointe Claire village.nThe sign on the front door says to go through the terrace entrance. Other people were there before us and were waiting and waiting.nnThey got tired of waiting and they intruded to find a table. Same happened to us. Nobody to check new customers in. We pushed in and Anna, the waitress happened by. It seems to bother her to have to deal with us.nnI asked for a table for 2 and a few tables were bussed but not cleaned. She said we could sit over there if we didn’t mind. Right from that point, I could feel her bad attitude. No smile no welcome not happy to serve ONE more table.nnWe could see at least 3 more waiters, all busy. To make a long story short, we had to ask her twice to wipe our table.nWe asked 4 times to get water glasses and we only received them because another waiter intervened.nnShe finally took our order. At this point, no utensils no water still. She then brought the plates. Had to return with utensils and ketchupasked twice and they fill brand mark ketchup with cheep one, taste awful.nnShe never checked on us after that. I had to ask another waiter for the bill and a take out box. I said where is our waitress? He answered that her shift was over. She just left and abandoned our table. Good service from the male waiter. Extremely bad service from AnnaHe said her name was.nnFood: butter chicken was good as per my hubby. Fried pickles good. Chicken fingers and fries over deep fried, almost broke a tooth. No salad option over fries. Expensive.nLovely garden, no bugs.nWould not recommend.

Great place. My first time, but really great place. The prices are right, the service is great, the food was ok. Beer great. Location is good. Parking next to the place. I am going again and will take some friends. Good to know there is such a place.

Great pub food in the Pointe Claire Village. We had the Irish Stew and the Stout-Braised Beef. The stew was enormous and came with nice toasty bread. The braised beef was fork tender and served on creamy mashed potatoes. Great place & ambience for a chilly evening, or even a quick lunch while walking the Village.

A busy night at the Pub. My friend and I were enjoying the Pub atmosphere. My Braised Beef was tender and delicious and I told my friend how glad I was to have ordered this dish.nHalf way through the meal, I pulled a long hair out of the food in my mouth. Accidents happen, and I discretely got rid of the hair and continued enjoying my meal. I lost my appetite however when the next piece, the last piece of meat had 2 hairs as company.nThe couple at the table next to us asked what was wrong and were as shocked as I was that I had had several hairs in my dish.nThe waitress apologized when I mentioned the hairs in my food and told me that she would mention it to the chef.nWhen paying my bill she again apologized and told me that finding hair in the food is rare.nI hope so.nI won’t go back.nHeinz
