YAKS on the 5

The garlic fries stink but that’s a good thing if you drink a few beer. Beer selection is great. Bartender knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect but the best thing is the burgers. The burgers are amazing, delicious. A must stop rest area if you are driving by.

Pretty cool place on the side of hwy 5! Great if your wanting some good grub when passing through. I had the cilantro burger which was decent. We were given pieces of Their famous sticky buns bc we had a longer wait than what they told us, and it was tasty. Service seemed kind of out of control and the place was smoky from the grill, and the burgers were expensive. Overall a good experience tho and I would go back.

Great roadside diner. There is a waiting area with benches, but the staff so their best to seat people quickly. The burgers are amazing. We were also given a sample of their sticky buns. They are incredible. We bought one to go since we were full from lunch and they are big enough to share.

Great place, the whole meal was great. The sticky buns were amazing. I recommend the tater tots too. The side salad was unexpectedly huge and more like a dinner salad. Great job, guys!

The food is epic, for sure, but this is really about their service and grace. Imagine the scene, August 20, 2017 - t-minus ~20 hours to the eclipse. The place is nuts, I walk in with a hungry wife and a newborn baby! They manage to seat me and get me my food in absolutely impressive time, and without treating other customers poorly. My server, Andrea, was quick and helpful and got timely help from the rest of the staff. This is one of my favorite restaurants ever and I only wish I got the chance to support them more.
