Story

Established in 1945.

Mike & Tony's has been serving family style Italian/American food and cocktails since 1945.

First cousins, Mike Giorgis and Tony Feminis, purchased the current establishment from Felix Gaspari upon returning from World War II. Through the years several owners have been expanding upon this tradition of featuring a full bar for cocktails and wines, along with fine Italian and American food, in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Current owner Gino Fiorucci invites you to come experience this tradition and browse our selection of old Mount Shasta and North Beach historical photographs and memorablilia during your visit.

Great food and atmosphere the first few times....the third time back however, I noticed a family member of the restaurant owner take her scraps out to the car for their dog. (They were having brunch and celebrating some guys 75birthay) SHE TOOK THE SCRAPS OUT ON THE RESTAURANT PLATE AND SHE RETURNED THE DOG LICKED PLATE TO THE KITCHEN! NASTY! NASTY! NASTY! Dogs carry diseases that humans can catch! Dogs carry parasites that humans can be infected by! The dishwasher is not sufficient! I think it's a total health violation to let dogs lick the plates clean and then put the plate in front of your customer! That's disgusting! Vile! And ignorant! You may love your dog but I refuse to eat from the same dishes as your dog! What other health code violations are being committed?

Dinner was awesome!!! Veggies were cooked to perfection and the service was busy but very attentive. They also were happy to accommodate our vegetarian and dairy allergy diets. We also found that the staff here is more than happy to make recommendations on hiking spots and places to experience the energies of Shasta.

Went here 2 nights in a row. Unassuming exterior but obviously a local favorite. Great food and service. Would definitely come back.

Very good menu lots of variety but still Italian. Family style with antopasto. Good portions. Food well prepared good presentation. Have had two very good sea food dishes. Halibut and filet of sole. Wife had hanger steak that was amazing and hood fried chicken. Good full bar and wine selection. Service is very good. Busy on Fir and Sat

Absolutely wonderful, service, food, atmosphere all outstanding. We were there 2 different nights, Jessica and then Barb were our servers, both were professional and friendly. The minestrone and clam chowder or some of the best we have ever had. Go. Go. Go. You will not be disappointed
