Located on the second floor. Xing fu tang’s bubble tea flavour was good. However the brown sugar tapioca isn’t as good as their other locations. The location is also clean and spacious.
This boba shop is THE BEST in Waterloo. The drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was even better. The service was kind of mediocre but was professional and friendly just a little slow. The prices were pretty reasonable for University area of Waterloo. Overall I would give them a 9/10.Food: 5/5
Pros: the teas weren't too sweet and the service was okay. Cons: The interior visibly lacked maintenance and seriously needed to be cleaned. Chairs were broken, decorations were non-existent, and the washroom was so dirty you could not walk inside it. Had I seen what the interior looked like, I would not have ordered anything from this place.
Best Brown Sugar Tapioca Pearls! Must place to visit! I’ll definitely visit this place again. SUCH an underrated place. Many different flavours and variations. I've been here many times and service is always the same and always tastes the same. I've tried the Signature Brown Sugar Milk Pearl, Taro, Dalgona, Strawberry and many others. The pearls never get hard and they stay soft. The signature milk without tea is so good. It has a slight creamy taste. Slightly more expensive than competition. It tastes slightly higher quality. Recomend!
I've had a variety of experiences at this location, but I end up leaving with a great drink every time. More often than not there is only 1 staff at a time, meaning it takes anywhere from 10-15mins per drink, but it is always worth the wait. Recently I ordered a drink and after paying the worker told me they did not have any strawberries for it. I said it was fine to make it without them, and 15 minutes later her co-worker comes in on his day off carrying a box of strawberries so I could still get the drink I ordered. As there is only 1 worker, store maintenance often seems to be an issue, but the store has a lot of potential to have a great atmosphere. :
First time to visit this place. I ordered Dalgona milk tea and it’s really good! I like it how they cook the tapioca evenly! The guy was apologetic cause it might take awhile to cook the tapioca but it’s okay! This is really a good place for brown sugar milk tea lovers! Must place to visit! I’ll definitely visit this place again.
Oh no, what a disappointment : We ordered two bubble teas. The place is not very well kept, a bit neglected. And one of the teas was good, the other not at all. The person who made the tea was kind and patient, but the store itself looks like it's falling apart and is not at all pleasant to be in. Too bad.
SUCH an underrated place. Interesting bubble tea flavours, beautiful atmosphere, & very unique features. You can even paint here with a purchase of these bear figurines. Also, little horoscope things. Very different for a bubble tea place. Love it.
Pretty good bubble tea…but does this look like TARO Bubble Tea to you? Where’s the purple powder? Your ads show purple taro milk tea. This is the third time I’ve ordered something that has no taro flavour, and isn’t purple in any way. Not even sure what I’m drinking right now.
Boba was excellent! Tasty! There was only one person working but I had to edit my order half way and she did it! Rest service!
