WoodSpring Suites Ogden

I stayed here for about three months. The best part about staying here is that the price is reasonable and the overall level of cleanliness is good. The main downside is that dealing with the staff is a mixed bag. Sometimes they are friendly and professional, other times they can be rude. I suggest that there needs to be customer service training because even though this is a long-term stay business, it is still part of the hospitality industry and customers need to be treated like welcomed guests and not a burden to be moved through as quickly as possible. Bottom line: good place to stay for the price and quality cleanliness in the room, however staff attitudes vary and can use improvement.

Maids think it's appropriate to enter your room and go through your personal belongings while you are gone. No respect or privacy whatsoever.

They have 3 different styles of rooms, although they all are essentially the same.... Any room comes with a microwave, full fridge/freezer, kitchen sink, drawers and cabinets, and a stove. There are gas stations and a few places to eat within walking distance, and if you have a car, grocery stores and down town is just down the street. The service is alright, staff is usually relatively friendly, however there are rumors of housekeeping being nosy enough to sift through drawers of residents while cleaning. Overall, it's an excellent extended stay motel, considering there isn't much competition around.

Our room keys didn't work, we were given one room told we had to go to another, got to that room and after trying to settle in was told we needed to move to another room. We get this room and it smelled like smoke. It was in the sheets it was a horrible smell. When we asked about the specific request for a nonsmoking room we were informed that room was thinly one left open. It took us a total of 35 minutes from the time we walked in the building to be in a room and it was a horrible room.
