The Bluenose Inn & Suites

Very nice hotel! Rooms were beautiful and very clean, and Dwayne at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating with our rooms and with suggestions on what to see/do in the area. Great restaurant next door was convenient! The only downside was the rooms were not very soundproof so we could hear kids running around a few rooms over- pretty late at night too. But overall, we would definitely stay again!

We had to stay an overnight while travelling from Orlando to Newfoundland..We booked the room through Expedia thinking that the photos of their rooms looks reasonable!! What a shock to our system when we pulled up around the building to enter the room ! I thought I was at the Bates Motel !! The room was horrifying!! Filthy floors , beds were gross and shower was Maggoty!! I don’t know how it is still open ! If I had been an employee of the Board of Health I would have shut it down in an instant !! I was disgusted beyond words ! Back to the front desk to demand refund to move down the road to the comfort inn! Now that is a clean and and super comfortable stay !! Do yourself a favour and run from this fleabag infested motel !!

Not as advertised. Booked for 6 nights. Had to leave immediately! The pictures are NOT the rooms. Bad neighborhood. Says no smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. The only good part was the man at the desk was accommodating.

Rooms need work. May be better after upgrades and having staff onsite 24/7. We had a bad experience with trouble makers.

This place is filthy!!! It’s pretty much used as a place for escorts to work. There are more hookers then guests that stay. The rooms are filthy and there mattresses are full of pee and bodily fluids they never clean. You can smell must as soon as you enter the rooms. The manager is fully aware of the escorts working out of the rooms yet doesn’t care. Out of all the motels in Halifax this has got to be the lowest and nastiest I have ever witnessed. The place should be torn down. Just shameful!
