Woodcock Brothers Brewery

Best beer and wood fired pizza ever. I'm a home Brewer and I cannot even come close to the craft beers produced by the Woodcock Brothers. Pizza is phenomenal and burgers are great too. The Saturday prime rib special is probably the best prime rib ever- a huge portion, I don't see how they can serve such a large prime rib and still be in business, but my wife and I hit it at least once a month. Well worth the trip to Wilson.

Woodcock is a great place to go for lunch, dinner, snacks, or just to have some beer. They did a beautiful job restoring the building and bringing some new life to that part of town. I love visiting here when I'm in town to visit friends and family, or just down by the lake in general. The poutine is my favorite and I'm glad it's back on the menu. I've had many great experiences here. The clean and spacious bathroom is a major plus. Definitely a place where most everyone would feel comfortable.

A decent Brew house. Lots of good beer! The food was good but not outstanding. Bonus points for the roasted vegetables salad for my vegetarian companion. There was a funky smell when we entered; industrial solvent and smoke (from the wood fired pizza?) and natural gas/propane....it was off putting.

Our second visit, the facility is very impressive. The food is great and the wood fired pizza is a highlight. Grabbing a growler is easy and quick. I am removing a star for being accosted by an obviously intoxicated older woman while we dined. The staff was aware of the sloppy conduct and the woman invading our personal space while droning on with inappropriate language and a nonsensical monologue. We were forced to abandon our seating, toss $70 bucks on the bar, and rush out the door 25 minutes after we walked in. The staff should have intervened it spoiled our whole day.

This places wings are just dry rub wings! Something original! Wood fire everything! The pizza is amazing too! That's not even mentioning those great brews! Xpa, or Porter are a sure bet! Great place!
