Overwhelmingly charming setting with a superior, caring, personable staff. We tried a special "two-island adventure" and stayed at The Nantucket for the second half of our vacation week, which was just as great for similar reasons. If you like your vacations quaint and romantic this is an excellent place. The only con I can think of is the price of the food. Everything you can find to eat on the island costs double its mainland value.

The Dunes was fantastic for dinner. Surprised to get a reservation at short notice, and pleased there was no dress code since we'd just come from the beach. Great flavors in every dish. Catch of the day was salmon with braised kale, black rice and a pineapple salsa, and it came together perfectly. Avocado watermelon ahi to start was also a pleasure for the palate. Pricey, but you get more than just good service and decor for your money.

We went there off-season in spring 2011 for our honeymoon. Very relaxing and beautiful hotel and area. We found some buses and places to hike around. We also took the path from the hotel to the beach and hung out on beach chairs together on the beach completely by ourselves. Definitely want to come back for one of our anniversaries :)

There was a misunderstanding with the staff before our stay, but they quickly helped us through it and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

I've visited many times over the years to use the resorts many services. All are very good. The yoga on the lawn is particularly good and my son loves the fire truck rides.
