Martha's Vineyard Surfside Motel

We arrived Monday on the cusp of Hurricane Jose! The front desk was kind enough to put our room on hold for a extra night in case the ferries did not run on Thursday. They also let us check into our room before the check in time of 3pm, which was very sweet. The room was beautiful. Nice furniture, TV, mini fridge ( perfect for our storm provisions and left overs !) And a beautiful view of the ocean. You would never know it was a pet friendly hotel, as the rooms were so clean!! Bathroom also clean with plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly, price was perfect, and we can't wait to stay with them again. Thank you for an amazing vacation!!

This gets 5 stars because of excellent customer service provided to us by Sara at the front desk. She needs deserves a raise. Her attitude was amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She is the perfect model of what a customer service employee should be. They even allowed us to check in early because my wife is pregnant. Because of our warm welcome we will def come back to this hotel. The rooms were nice as well. Great location close to everything in ob no car needed.

I've stayed at this hotel with my family since I was 13.... I'm 33 and now bring my own family to this great place of memories...they are always great! There was one time I had to cancel my room due to my grandmothers passing and the held some of my deposit because of it...I understand hotel policy so I Let it go...but customer service wise They were very rude about it. Other than that one thing my time is always amazing when I go! And I'll be there this august with my family to create some more memories.

Absolutely the worst experience for the horrendous price we paid. Room smelled , carpet was moist, small-bugs were flying-everywhere. The AC was either very loud or non existent. And rest? Forget it !! The courtyard in front of our windows was full of people after 11:30 pm -3 am (it's supposed to be closed at 11pm ) . The people were loud , rude, drunk and swearing. My Little kid cried - couldn't sleep! My husband tried to shut the people outside up several times without much luck. We fell asleep at 4 am ! Stay away from this place especially with kids.
