Friendly, family atmosphere. Clean, neat facilities. The grounds are kept up well, there all kinds of things to do...campfires big & small, basketball, bikes, volleyball, videogames, etc... You can bring a tent, RV or stay in a cabin. And hot, delicious coffee every A.M. I was never a "camper" but can say that we've been going here yearly for 4 yrs and its the ONLY time I will camp. They make for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in mid August. We had a great time and it is the only way to stay for cheap on the vineyard. We tented, and our site was fine, but we were way in the back so it was a long walk to the bathroom at night. Our neighbors were drunk and disruptive the second night. We let security know at 12 am and he dealt with them efficiently. Bathroom is extremely busy, inside showers nice and hot! Outside showers were cute but kind of a pain to have to push the button every 45 sec for warm water. Camp store good. Make sure you take your trash to the dumpster every day (or put in your car) and secure your food in lidded Tupperware containers/fridge/cooler. We had 2 skunk visitors throughout the campground the last few nights. Quiet and cute campground, we will be going back.

Great Campsite! Great and friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the playground and the big field for playing ball. Clean bathrooms, but a bit small. Bus stop is right next to the campsite - so that was very convenient to get around. Bought a daily pass and boy did we get around town. Bonus- kids under 7 - ride free! If planning to bring car- make sure to reserve spot on the ferry months in advance...

Very clean bathrooms. However we were in the off season. The sites were a little close together and I cannot Imagine high season when everyone wants to have a fire and the sites are less than 4 paces away. Friendly staff, lots of level site options. Even cabins and walk in camp sites in the back.

This is a top notch campground there is a good reason there are not dogs allowed! There is a lot of wildlife on the island and dogs really can be a problem. I am sure there are some great kennels on the island if needed!
