Parking is a bit of an underground maze but it’s easy to get right into the store via the garage. And they’ll validate parking with a $25+ purchase.nnThe store is decently well stocked but smaller than a lot of comparable Whole Foods, even the nearby one on Yonge St. You’ll find the brands and fresh produce you need for the most part - with a decent cheese section and some delightful breads. The checkout section has cute umbrellas over the registers and they don’t force robot-self-checkout on you which is nice.nnWould love to see a more modern store design or more spacious layout but it’s doing the best it can in the area it’s in. The ceilings feel dark and low and it gives the place a weird vibe that feels like a store below the tier WF is trying to occupy.nnStaff are great. Options just felt a bit limited.
We have been loyal Whole Foods customers for years, especially at the Bayview location before it closed, and we never experienced the kind of issues we are facing now. Over the past few weeks, most of the fruit we’ve purchased has developed mold within just a couple of days, even when it was still very firm and clearly not ripe.nnFor example, nectarines, peaches, and even tomatoes have shown visible mold after only 2–3 days at home. The fruit often looks fine at the time of purchase — firm and seemingly fresh — but then it spoils almost immediately. This suggests that the problem is not just at home storage, but rather how the fruit is handled or stored before it even reaches the shelf possibly transportation damage, over-refrigeration, or excess humidity in storage.nnWe always take care to store fruit properly — separating ethylene producers like bananas and tomatoes, refrigerating as needed — but this hasn’t made a difference. It’s disappointing compared to our past experience at Bayview, where the produce quality and shelf life were consistently much better.nnAs regular customers, we would really appreciate more attention to produce handling and freshness. It’s discouraging to throw away so much food, and we hope this feedback helps improve the quality and consistency we’ve come to expect from Whole Foods.
This store offers a wide variety of products. I especially liked the deli section.
Favourite spot in the city for fresh produce and good quality. They have ready to eat buffets super convenient when you’re on the go. Also parking is free if shop over a specific amount
Whole foods market have a lot of variety of options for everyone who have certain preferences and needs. I love how they sell many organic stuff and low-calorie items and great ingredient list items! Their mangos are great when they’re on sale some of them are too small tho
