Whitlow's Forerunner

Not fancy but good, simple food! Perch dinner was definitely worth the trip - crispy and good flavor. Burger was fresh made - not pre-formed or frozen. Salad bar was great - fresh and lots of toppings and salads to choose from. Chicken fingers were typical frozen, deep fry as were the fries. Everything came out hot and tasty! Service was excellent, too!

Great place for some comfort food! Loved my 1/2 pound burger and everybody else’s food looked great too. Nice staff and cool setting. Feels very welcoming and homey. I would highly recommend and will be back in the future!Dietary restrictions accommodatedNot sure

I like this grill/saloon its oldskool and somtimes oldskool is good and this is one of those places. When Im passing through I like to stop and get The Ruben because is top of the line, my girl got the Chicken sandwich for the 1st we both usually get the Rubens and she said it was fresh and had a nice flavor. Great stop always

Food was good, salad bar was full, our waitress could have been a little more informative of specials or where to get your vegetable if getting the special, didn't realize I had to get it from the salad bar too when they served me my food. The roasted chicken was really good. The baked potato was good just hard to cut thru the skin. Our waitress got better as time went however, so overall it was still a good experience. It was during a busy time on a Sunday during lunch rush.

The perch was great. Crispy and fresh. Also tried the grilled steelhead and was wonderful. A fresh salad bar with all fixings. First time here but we will be back!!

Food is mediocre but the service was awful, spent more time doing miscellaneous stuff instead of getting our takeout container and bill. Putting stuff in her purse opening a liquor bottle and putting a pour top on it all while we where sitting there waiting for her to bring a container. She never checked on us we say for at least 15 minutes when we done eating Ridiculous.

The owner verbally attacked and swore at my disabled niece after her mother kindly asked him to disperse a crowd of 10 plus people. Who were all loitering within 3 feet of the restaurants front door smoking so that my niece who suffers from two terminal disease and can not be around smoke could leave the restaurant after their meal. My entire family over the last multiple decades have spent a lot of money at Whitlows not because the food is great its not or for the dated and run down building, furniture or decor but because we like to support our community and local businesses. This is unacceptable abilist and abusive behavior and we will no longer be supporting this business. We will also be spreading the word about this owner who can't by his own admission control his business, his anger or abide by the laws of this great community and beautiful state.

Great salad bar, friendly staff. Food is always good. Choose the bar side, the dining room is like a nursing home cafeteria with sterile white walls and way too much fluorescent lightingFood: 5/5

Not impressed. Walked in for dinner. Sat down and waited for waitress for 5 minutes. 1 couple came in and waitress immediately brought menus and greetings. Waited 2-3 minutes and another couple came in and sat down. Waitress brought menus and greetings. Waitress passes right buy me and takes orders for 1st couple. Comes back in about 3 minutes and takes orders for second couple. Second waitress passes by me and brings water and coffee to first couple. After waiting for service for about 10 minutes 2 waitreses have found me to be the invisible hungry man only 10 feet away from both couples. This was on a Monday evening at 6:30 and there was minimal customers in house. I got up and walked out. All I got was another 1 hour drive home to get some dinner. My wife did not ignor the invisible hungry man.
