The bacon cheddar burger was delicious, hitting the spot after a nice long afternoon walk. The fries were well done, as requested, better than usual. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and such a great listener. It's a good place for a relaxed meal and catching up with a friend.n---nI was back again this weekend and their Legendary Burger summer special with a blueberry tart was delicious. Once again, they did the fries just as I asked. The staff were also very accommodating in finding a suitable sear for my family member who had limited mobility. Thanks again.
I had the Monty mushroom burger in a lettuce wrap and it was amazing! Their chowder wasn’t that spectacular to me, especially after having the seafood chowder at Tap & Barrel at Brentwood. Otherwise, this place is nostalgic for me, I grew up on Pirate Paks and milkshakes. I love this place for the nostalgia. Their o sauce is their secret yummy weapon. Their menu can be better in terms of dessert selection. Like the apple pie and maple ice cream at Joeys. Server was great, restaurant is good for family for sure! Thanks !
We came here with a large party of 20, and the staff handled everything wonderfully. The food was excellent, service was attentive, and they made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I know we weren’t the easiest group to accommodate, so thank you for your patience and hospitality. Highly recommend this place for both small groups and big gatherings!nnThey have nice decor in the lobby as well. I go here all the time and haven’t seen this before .
First time EVER going to a White Spot after being a BC resident for 23 years. Was absolutely blown away by the incredible hospitality that Nia provided me and my guest. I was already very excited to eat at a White Spot for the first time, but Nia completely made the experience even more worthwhile and made me want to come back every week. She checked in on us, made sure we were taken care of, had such great knowledge about the menu and made us feel so welcomed. I will only be visiting this White Spot and will only be there if Nia can be my server. White Spot Kensington, you guys have a real gem amongst your staff!
I came here with my friends and the food was really great! Everything that I ordered was done well. I did like the waitress there as she was super polite and attentive. My only complaint is the manager came by our table in a middle of a conversation just to ask if the alcohol we were drinking was from their restaurant, which it was and we showed her the receipt and she said that everything was okay. To be honest she was better of asking the waitress that served us then to just interrupt our convo and made us feel like we were accused, so one star less because of her!
